Even now, he still doesn't understand how his two shouts could have caused such a commotion, causing these people to scatter and disregard the imperial decree, so daringly and openly defying it.
And the roaring continued:
"Stop! Don't move! All of you, come back here!"
"Come back!!"
The soldiers ran for their lives, while some cavalrymen had already ridden away, trying to block the source.
But the incident happened so suddenly that, in such a chaotic situation, it was impossible to stop the crowd immediately. Not to mention that this was not an open and flat field, the crowds heading in all directions were not something they could stop right away.
"Wang Hao! What the hell are you standing there for?!"

He had only taken a couple of steps when he stopped abruptly, noticing a piece of torn paper covering the boot beneath his feet.
With the writing facing up, there were clearly some things written on the white paper in black ink. It must have been a piece of paper left behind by these people who were fleeing.
The squad leader only glanced at it once, and his mind went blank.
He was panting heavily as he picked up the half-piece of paper with wide eyes. As his gaze fell upon it, his face instantly turned pale.
