Chapter 635 Lesser Fullness (Part 1)

Qing'er wisely refrained from disrupting the harmonious atmosphere between the two.

Although she was young, her ability to read people had been honed to perfection during her time as a spy in the Prince's mansion. So at this moment, she simply stood quietly in the distance, watching the two of them without saying a word.

Jin Changge, who was lying on the grass, had fully recovered after a period of rest, but she did not want to get up.

Lying quietly on the grass, smelling the scent of grass and earth, is something you don't usually do intentionally, but when you do it by chance, you discover how wonderful it is.

It had been a very long time since she had been able to lie so quietly on the grass, looking at the night sky. Although there was no moon or stars in the sky, the tranquility was enough to calm her mind.

This reminded her of the night she visited the Qin residence many years ago, when she lay on the grass in a similar manner, only that the moonlight that night was as bright as silk, far brighter than tonight.

Thinking of this, she turned to look at Qin Ze:

"What did you say?"

"What?" Qin Ze continued to look at the night sky.

"Stop pretending, what exactly did your father say?" The girl turned around, lay on her side on the grass, and looked at Qin Ze with her hand behind her head.

Qin Ze turned his face and winked at her: "But you still didn't beat me."

"Speak quickly." The girl reached out and pushed his arm.

Qin Ze remained motionless, his lips tightly pressed together, not uttering a single word.

"What can't you say? Why are you hiding it from me like this? Tell me now." The girl moved closer to him and nudged his arm.

Qin Ze ignored her and remained silent despite her shoving, seemingly determined not to utter a single word.

Jin Changge finally couldn't help herself and said coquettishly, "I only have this one request, what's so hard about saying it?" As she spoke, she pinched Qin Ze's arm.

"You didn't beat me." Qin Ze ignored the girl's request.

"You...!" The girl was furious. She sat up from the ground and glared at him.

Qin Ze winked at her, looking nonchalant and unconcerned.

The two stared at each other, and after a few moments of silence, a blush rose on the girl's cheeks. She slowly leaned down towards Qin Ze, and Qin Ze's heart skipped a beat as he watched that delicate face get closer and closer to him.

But the girl did nothing out of line. She simply whispered something in his ear, and as soon as she finished speaking, she immediately lay down and turned her back to him.

"Are you sure?" At this moment, it was Qin Ze's turn to turn and look at her.

"Hmm... Just say it." The girl's voice was so soft it was like a mosquito's hum. She was curled up, trembling with shyness as she pinched her palms together.

But then, a burst of laughter came from behind her.

"Hahaha, trying to use your beauty to seduce me won't work. You've already promised me that you'll be mine from now on. I can do whatever I want with you. Do you need to tell me?"

Upon hearing this, the girl's shy face flushed red. She sat up abruptly, glaring at Qin Ze with a mischievous grin, her teeth itching with hatred.

Then, she stood up, pointed at Qin Ze, and said fiercely, "Get up right now!"

"So what if I lost to you in one game? So what!"

"You're a man, and I'm a woman. I'm at a disadvantage in this boxing match. Let's have another match, but not fistfights, let's have a sword fight! That's fair!"

Qin Ze smiled and shook his head, "I'm not competing anymore, I'm already tired."

"No way, I'm not tired yet, why are you tired? Are you not as tired as me?" The angry girl bent down, grabbed Qin Ze's hand, and tried to pull him up from the ground.

"I'm really tired," Qin Ze said lazily.

"Don't be tired! You're my future husband. If you're already complaining about being tired at such a young age, what will happen to you later?!" the girl shouted, her face flushed.

Upon hearing this, Qin Ze was stunned.

The girl, however, seemed to have no choice but to blush and shout at him, "Get up right now! I won't allow you to say you're tired."

"If you have a sword but don't use it, what's the point of carrying it around? It's just for show, a decoration."

Qin Ze gave her a meaningful look and said with a smile, "You'll find out."

The girl didn't understand what he meant and said angrily, "Don't say so much."

"Get up right now and prove it to me!"

"I'm afraid you're all show and no substance, like a silver spear with a wax tip, all looks and no use, like carrying a fine sword but not knowing how to use it."

As she spoke, she let go, letting Qin Ze fall to the ground again, and then she ran to the stone table to retrieve the two swords.

After retrieving his sword, Qin Ze sat up from the ground.

"Come on, after this match, if I win, you can tell me everything!"

Jin Changge tossed the [Willpower] sword to Qin Ze, who caught it with a swift motion: "You really want to know?"

"I need to know!" The girl nodded, her expression becoming extremely serious.

Qin Ze suddenly sighed and slowly stood up from the ground: "Alright, let's have another match then."

Seeing that he had finally agreed, the girl was overjoyed and immediately said, "The usual."

"Tell me, what prize do you want this time?"

Upon hearing this, Qin Ze's lips curled into a smile: "Oh? It seems you're not confident of beating me."

"Of course! I'll agree to whatever prize you want, because I know you definitely can't beat me this time!" the girl said proudly, her head held high.

After saying this, Qin Ze paused for two breaths before speaking slowly:

"No prizes this time."

"Let's compete like this. I'll give you one last chance."

Although the girl was somewhat surprised, she immediately nodded, afraid that Qin Ze would change his mind.

Sword fighting is much more dangerous than hand-to-hand combat; a slight mistake can result in bleeding and injury. Therefore, the two agreed to fight only one move this time.
