Chapter 660 White Smoke

What are the Yan people doing? This question immediately darkened Clemento's expression.

He said coldly:

"I don't care what they're doing."

"Nothing they do now will help. What awaits them is our wrath. Our warships will be armed with cannons and utterly destroy them. They will be completely wiped out!"

Federich nodded, but frowned and said, "They sent a thousand warships in that battle. I don't know if they have any more warships on their home soil."

Upon hearing this, Clemento waved his hand and said, "That's about all of it."

“Oh?” Federich raised an eyebrow at him.

Clemento sneered, "No country has ever dared to underestimate our coalition forces. Therefore, they must have been well-prepared for the last battle. In other words, they gave it their all to achieve victory."

"But so what? Last time we only took an advance force, not the entire navy."

Federich stroked his chin and continued, "That's why I'm wondering what the Yan people are doing right now."

"In the past few months, they must have done something. They know that if they anger us, they will face the consequences. They must have been working hard to build warships and train sailors."

Clemento shook his head and said dismissively, "It's too late."

"How many warships can be built in a few months? And it will take even longer to put them into sea for combat. They are not a country with a strong foundation like my Sa Ri Kingdom."

"I think they are building a naval port and making the coastal fortifications more solid. In fact, the Yan Kingdom's South Port that we visited last time was very solid. The Yan Kingdom people have placed a lot of cannons on it, and we can hardly get close."

"And this time... ha."

Clemento sneered and continued, "See the warships docked in the harbor? They're loaded with our largest caliber shells."

Federich nodded, then smiled and said, "The cannons mounted on our Whale are also very powerful."

“Yes, I see. You actually built such a large warship. Federich, your emperor has quite the vision…” Clemento gave Federich a deep look.

Federich waved his hand and said, "Alright, Clemento, stop overthinking. This time we're fighting as a united front. We only have one enemy: the Yan Kingdom!"

As he spoke, his face darkened. "His Majesty was furious when he learned that our entire Sea Lion Fleet had been sacrificed in the South China Sea. Those cruel Yan Kingdom people didn't even spare a single person! Those vicious bastards! They deserve to die!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than Clement stood up, extended his hand to him, and said with a grim expression, "Fedrich, let's crush them! Let's avenge them! Let them pay!"

Federich stood up and reached out to shake his hand firmly!

"Yes, my friend!"

After releasing his grip, the two sat down again, and Federich poured wine while saying:

"The people from Shenglu Kingdom are taking way too long to prepare. When will they arrive?"

Clemento frowned: "I've received the news. In the last few days, they've reportedly dispatched nearly five hundred warships this time, and Figueres has once again appointed that kid Lucat as marshal."

Upon hearing this, Federich's face flushed red, and he said indignantly, "Hmph, that guy chose to run away in that battle; he's a coward!"

"If he hadn't taken the fleet and retreated back then, perhaps we wouldn't have lost that battle!"

As someone who had experienced that battle firsthand, Clemento stroked his chin upon hearing this, but did not echo it, because he knew in his heart that even if the Rose Fleet had not fled, the outcome would not have been different under those circumstances.

To be honest, Lucate does have good judgment, but he's also wrong. If he had conveyed all his thoughts from the beginning, that situation wouldn't have happened.

Thinking of this, Clemento's face darkened again, and he said:

"He definitely won't run away this time; he doesn't have the guts!"

"Once we reach the South China Sea, anyone who dares to disobey orders and evacuate without authorization will face the wrath of my Sa Ri Kingdom!" He emphasized the last sentence.

Federich naturally understood his meaning and immediately said, "My fleet and I will forge ahead without hesitation and will not return until the Yan Kingdom has been completely destroyed."

Clemento nodded at him.

"Any news from the Delta Federation?" Federich asked again.

"They only said they would wait for us on Chalmers Island."

"Charmei Island? That's an island on the second half of the journey to Yan Kingdom. Have they already set sail?"

Clemento shook his head: "That guy Von Palen only said that their fleet would be anchored at Charme Island, but he must have already made preparations, you know, the Delta Federation does everything very quickly."

“They came from the continent of Salisnor. If they were to come here to meet up, they would have to take a detour, which would take too much time.”

“Alright, hopefully the Delta Federation will cooperate with us this time and won’t act on their own,” Federich said.

Clemento chuckled upon hearing this.

"Hehe, that doesn't matter. If they go to Yan Kingdom first, it's not a bad thing to fight them first."

"That would let us know exactly how many warships the Yan Kingdom has."

Federich pursed his lips and sighed, "Then let's wait for the people from Shenglu to arrive soon. I can't wait any longer."
