Chapter 779 Tonight

It was issued too late, but the messenger still carried the order to deliver it nonetheless.

Inside the command center, Tacino was truly restless.

The command center was in Factory No. 3, which was the most central location in the entire factory area. Factories No. 5 and No. 6, which were close to the breach, were already in the center of fierce fighting. Not long ago, news also came from near Factory No. 4 that enemy soldiers had attacked. Although there were not many, Tacino, who was in the command center, had already heard the gunshots.

It was these gunshots, coming from afar and drawing nearer, that made Tacino restless, like a grasshopper on a hot plate.

Now, when Davis said he wanted to establish a defensive line centered on Factory No. 4, Tacino couldn't help but approach Davis with trepidation, offering his advice:

"This place will become the final battleground."

"We fight them off, or they kill us."

"It's tonight."

As soon as he finished speaking, the command room fell into a deathly silence. Tacino's fingers were icy cold and trembled slightly involuntarily.

"Boom boom boom!"

An explosion rang out at that moment. Hearing the sound not far away, Tacino's heart tightened. He immediately realized that the enemy must have brought in artillery. Clearly, the number of enemy troops that had entered the factory area must be terrifying.

His face slowly turned pale, and even his jaw began to tremble. Tacino slowly turned his face and looked at Davis's back.

Suddenly.

"Sir! We need to retreat!"

"We have to retreat! If we don't, they'll kill us all!" Tachino shouted, his face contorted with rage.
