"You're going to shoot your own people?!"
Upon hearing this, the officer's face turned ashen, but he still did not lower his gun. He shouted angrily, "You are giving false orders! General Davis would never say we are to retreat! We will fight the Yan people to the death!"
Despite his lie being completely exposed, Tacino did not panic. Instead, he roared at the surrounding soldiers with an extremely angry expression:
"I'm saving your lives!"
"Everyone can see that we can't hold this place anymore! Those damned Yan people will slaughter us like pigs! Even if we all die in battle, the military factory will still fall! What good will it do us to become corpses?!"
The officer immediately interrupted him angrily, saying, "You bastard! Don't make so many excuses! This is our duty as soldiers!"
Tachino ignored him, continuing to roar:
"We can preserve some troops by withdrawing now. The military factory is only temporarily abandoned. We can take it back together when the main force from the Heinrich military base arrives! This is the right decision!"
"If you don't want to die here in vain, then come with me! Evacuate immediately!"
"We will take back the military factory soon! We will avenge those who have sacrificed their lives! So we cannot die!"
"At least not now!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Tachino gritted his teeth, ignoring the officer pointing a gun at him, and spurred his horse forward at breakneck speed.
The next moment, shouts of anger and gunshots rang out simultaneously.
"You deserter!!!"
"Bang!"
