This is not good news. The enemy's advance is unstoppable. With the fall of the pass and the defeat of Verli's army last night, the Yan people have gained control of two-thirds of the Enzos Mountain Pass.

Among those who supported this approach, besides Dylan, Dingle, who always looked sickly and was constantly coughing, was the most supportive.
The officers who held opposing views often thought:
'Don't they know what this means? Or... is the Empire no longer capable of winning this war with its army?'
The brief meeting ended in a somewhat tense atmosphere, but after sunset, Dingle was summoned by Dylan alone.
