Isabella was not wearing a laurel wreath today, but her carefully made-up appearance still made her look radiant. Her delicate face was not heavily made up, and her bright red lips were particularly eye-catching, but without any vulgarity. Instead, she exuded the charm of a mature woman.
Beneath her face, a three-layered pearl necklace adorned her long, slender, white swan neck, with the pearls increasing in size from the first to the third layer. Within each layer, the pearls strung together were all the same size, radiating a silvery-white luster, while in the center of the outermost layer hung a unique teardrop-shaped pearl.
The necklace added an extra touch of elegance and nobility to Isabella, seemingly proclaiming her queenly status. However, her attire did not quite match the silver pearl necklace.
She wore a bright burgundy V-neck fishtail dress, the dress was cut very tightly, showing off her figure without reservation. Her upper body was full and magnificent, fair and plump, while her waist suddenly narrowed down, as if it could be grasped by a hand.
But as you descend from her slender waist, her breasts become as full and voluptuous as her bust, which stretches out her hips. Below that, the six-panel fishtail skirt is perfectly tailored to her calves, revealing her black-and-red high heels. The slender heels are only the thickness of a little finger, yet they are five or six centimeters long, making Isabella's already tall figure appear even taller.
It's obvious that the silvery-white three-strand pearl necklace doesn't quite match the alluring and glamorous fitted fishtail dress, as the two have conflicting qualities. However, Isabella manages to blend them together with her outstanding figure.
So when she took off the robe and handed it to James, who was standing there dumbfounded, James could hardly take his eyes off her. He felt that Her Majesty's attire today seemed a bit too daring. She had never worn such alluring and eye-catching clothes before. This outfit also made James's breathing a little rapid. Holding the still warm robe, James twitched his nose and felt a strong fragrance wafting towards him.
In Eddington's eyes, Her Majesty the Queen had already shown the Yan people enough respect, but these rude Yan people showed no respect for Her Majesty at all, and even used both soft and hard tactics to force Her Majesty to take off her robes for inspection here, which was a complete humiliation!
They don't even care about their own country!
He immediately retorted angrily, "Your Majesty, I think it's better to..."
Before she could finish speaking, Isabella interrupted, "Alright, General Eddington, time is almost up."
As she spoke, she looked at the captain of the guard and said, "Come on."
The captain of the guard scrutinized Isabella, and James, standing nearby, nearly ground his teeth to powder. He immediately rushed in front of Isabella and shouted angrily, "We can accept an inspection, but not His Majesty!"
The captain of the guards nodded and said calmly, "Of course."
"It's clear that there's nowhere to hide a weapon."
After saying this, he waved his hand, and the other guards rushed down and began to search the bodies of the officials.
James, his face flushed, tried his best to endure it. After a moment, the search was completed. None of the other officials were carrying weapons, except for James, who had a curved dagger on him.
“This is my family heirloom! I never part with it!” James shouted angrily after his weapon was disarmed.
"Alright, James," Eddington said helplessly, and James finally shut up.
"If there are no objections, please follow me." The captain of the guards said expressionlessly, turned and walked into the building, and the group entered the building under his guidance.
After entering the hall and walking through the corridor to the back, within a few minutes, the guards led the group to the entrance of the banquet hall.
The two guards standing at the door stood tall and straight. When they saw Isabella and the others arrive, they turned around and opened the door slowly.
Isabella remained expressionless as she stared at the slowly opening door. Behind her, however, the others couldn't help but feel tense. Everyone knew that the upcoming meeting was crucial, and inside the banquet hall was the powerful Emperor of Yan, which made everyone uneasy.
As the banquet hall doors slowly opened, the bright beams of light from inside gradually enveloped the faces of the people outside. Isabella led the way inside, with the others following closely behind.
But when the entire scene came into view, everyone's expression changed drastically, and they stopped in their tracks, even Isabella was no exception.
In the center of the banquet hall, at the round table, stood a man with his back to the table and facing the door, holding a short double-barreled gun with a cold expression.
Then, he raised the gun with one hand and aimed it at Isabella, who had just walked in.
The incident happened so suddenly that everyone's expression changed drastically the moment they saw the scene. James didn't even have time to exclaim before he quickly raised his hand to shield himself, while Eddington rushed to Isabella's side, trying to shield her behind him.
The people behind them screamed in terror, but before they could utter a coherent syllable, there was a loud "bang".
The man pulled the trigger, and a crisp click echoed through the banquet hall, which had been unusually quiet just a moment ago.
Isabella blinked almost uncontrollably, and her head instinctively turned to the side.
Time seemed to stand still at that moment.
The expressions of terror on the faces of those behind Isabella also froze.
