No sooner had he finished speaking than James indignantly chimed in, "If he dares to point a gun at His Majesty again, I will shoot him right now!"
“That’s enough, James.” Isabella glanced at James and then said:
"The emperor of Yan Kingdom did this because his country gave him the confidence to do so, but for us, this unfamiliar yet powerful country needs to be understood even more."
"We will be holding our second meeting soon."
"The second meeting, Your Majesty, this..." Eddington frowned.
Isabella replied calmly, "Yes, you heard me right."
"In fact, it was he who brought it up himself, wanting to invite us to visit their country."
"He invited us to visit?" James asked, looking surprised.
"Of course, I only agreed because they invited me."
"But the timing hasn't been set yet, though I think it won't be long, probably this year. I'll personally accompany the Royal Fleet to pay a visit then." Isabella's expression remained unchanged.
"Is this...is this appropriate, Your Majesty?" Eddington asked nervously.
Isabella tilted her head and looked at him, blinking as she said, "What's wrong with that? They invited me outright, so am I supposed to reject them outright? Wouldn't that be refusing their goodwill?"
Eddington suddenly understood and immediately nodded, saying, "Yes, Your Majesty, I will escort you then."
Isabella smiled and said, "Thank you, General Eddington. I always feel safe with you by my side."
Looking at that warm and gentle smile, Eddington blushed, feeling a warm glow spread through his body. It was as if the gloom that had been weighing on his heart had dissipated considerably with Her Majesty's bright smile.
