Chapter 975 All Rejoice 6

"What are you doing, crying and sobbing? You have no manliness at all, humph."

"Don't you know my arms are sore? Why don't you take your son over there?"

After Lin Wan left, Qin Changge, with a stern face, looked at Qin Ze, who was still sobbing by the bedside, and said reproachfully.

As soon as he finished speaking, Qin Ze raised his head, revealing an expression that was five parts joy, three parts self-reproach, and two parts lingering fear. This face, which was both funny and sad, made Qin Changge's tense expression impossible to maintain, and she burst out laughing.

Seeing that his wife's spirits had improved considerably, Qin Ze finally managed to catch his breath, but he was still trembling with fear, muttering to himself:

"Thank goodness... thank goodness... it was just a false alarm..."

"What are you standing there for? Hurry up and carry him over," Qin Changge muttered.

"Yes, yes, yes." Qin Ze wiped his face and hurriedly reached out his hands into Qin Changge's arms.

"Slow down, you don't even have time to trim your nails, you might poke my son."

"Yes, yes, yes..."

Qin Ze agreed and carefully took his son into his arms, and only then did his expression become uniformly joyful.

He kissed his infant son's cheek and whispered repeatedly, "Good son, you've finally arrived safely. Your mother has suffered so much."

As soon as she finished speaking, Qin Changge scolded, "Thank goodness for our son, he exhausted me, almost drove me to my death..."

Just then, Qin Ze hurriedly reached out and covered her mouth with his hand, then said urgently, "On such a joyous day, don't say things like that. You almost scared me to death just now."

"Fortunately... it was just a false alarm."

Qin Changge lightly bit Qin Ze's finger and pouted, saying, "And you're one to talk."

"Alright, alright, I won't say anything, I won't say anything." Qin Ze smiled sheepishly, sat down by the bed, and then looked at his daughter, immediately exclaiming with delight:

"Great! Look at our daughter, those eyebrows, those eyes, so beautiful, just like you."

Upon hearing this, Qin Changge looked down at her daughter's face and pouted, saying, "You're lying through your teeth. Isn't she ugly?"

But as soon as she finished speaking, she changed the subject and said gently, "But she'll be beautiful when she grows up. My daughter, she'll be beautiful no matter what."

As she spoke, she chuckled twice.

Hearing that simple, honest laughter, Qin Ze was filled with emotion. He couldn't help but reach out and touch his wife's forehead, then lean down and whisper in her ear:

"Thank you for your hard work, Changge."

"Ouch... your beard is poking me." Qin Changge shrank back, feigning annoyance. Qin Ze chuckled and stroked his stubble, saying, "I'll have someone shave it clean later."

Qin Changge scoffed, "Forget it, I'll shave you tomorrow. Don't you know how good I am with a razor?"

As soon as they finished speaking, the two looked at each other and smiled.

Qin Ze sat on the couch, holding his son in one arm and the mother and daughter in the other. At this moment, he was so happy that he could not say another word.

His gaze kept shifting between his two children in his arms and his wife's face, and he just kept grinning.

Qin Changge rested her head against his chest, reached out to touch his face, and chuckled softly, her cheeks flushed:

"Why did you have to come back at the wrong time of day?"

"Have you finished dealing with things outside?"

Qin Ze took her hand and said, "Don't worry about those things, today is a joyous day."

As he spoke, he pressed his forehead against Qin Changge's, blinked, and continued, "I'll tell you slowly after you've rested."

"Mmm." Qin Changge smiled faintly and closed her eyes wearily.

But as soon as she closed her eyes, she suddenly opened them again and asked, "Did you give birth, sister? How are you now?"

Qin Ze nuzzled her face and chuckled softly, "Didn't you hear what Mother just said?"

"My head was spinning, I didn't hear clearly."

"You're all the same, mother and child are safe and sound. But you had an extra girl, thank goodness. If all three were boys, it would have really given me a headache," Qin Ze said with a smile, reaching out to pat his son's head.

Qin Changge chuckled and said, "You should be secretly happy."

As she was speaking, she frowned, her gaze fixed on the face of the baby girl in her arms. She didn't notice when, but the little girl had stopped crying.

At this moment, the daughter curled up her delicate little hands. Although she was being held in her mother's arms, her open eyes were only looking at her father. She neither cried nor made a fuss, and looked extremely well-behaved, which was completely opposite to her older brother who was born two minutes earlier but was still crying softly with his eyes closed.

Qin Ze also noticed his daughter's gaze and couldn't help but look at her face.

Qin Changge reached out and gently wiped away a teardrop-shaped red dot between her daughter's eyebrows, only to find that it was not the bloodstain she had thought it was, but a birthmark.

"Huh? A mole between the eyebrows?" she exclaimed in surprise.

"A mark of good karma," Qin Ze said with a smile.

Qin Changge looked closely at her daughter's face and then said, "Take a good look, there's one at the corner of her eye and one under her lip... Oh, and there's one on the tip of her nose too, such a tiny one."

Qin Ze laughed heartily: "Full of good fortune, limitless future, perhaps a reincarnated spirit child, incredible!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Changge smiled and said, "You're so good at talking."

"Bring your son closer, let me see if he has it."

Immediately, Qin Ze held his son close, and the couple looked closely at his face, but they did not see a single mole. The baby boy, who had been crying softly just moments before, finally stopped crying and gradually opened his eyes.

"There's nothing there, so what do you mean by that?" Qin Changge blinked.

Qin Ze touched his son's head and noticed that his occipital bone was particularly prominent. He then touched his daughter's head and confirmed that his son's was indeed different.
