Chapter 141 Red Hare and Lü Bu

In the peach blossom grove.

The horse was entirely red, like burning coals, without a single stray hair.

It is one zhang long from beginning to end.

It is eight feet tall from hoof to neck.

Its roaring and howling are like soaring into the sea, very domineering.

Who goes there?

The man on horseback was tall and imposing, with a fierce look in his eyes as he stared at Li Ming.

He holds a weapon, a long halberd with a "well" shaped top and colorful decorations on the shaft.

This should be his weapon, named Fangtian Huaji (方天画戟).

The figure riding a horse that was entirely red like charcoal and holding a halberd could only be one in Li Ming's mind: Lü Bu, the fiercest general in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Lu Bu, wielding his halberd, attacked directly. He had inexplicably appeared there and intended to capture the person in front of him for questioning.

He rode Red Hare, his halberd raised high, charging towards Li Ming.

Li Ming stood still. Lü Bu changed his halberd, which was aimed at him, into a slapping motion. He was about to thrust it at Li Ming, and this fair-skinned, unarmed young man would probably be killed.

With a gentle tap, Li Ming stood motionless, while the halberd in his hand shattered into countless pieces that fell to the ground.

Lu Bu was stunned. How did his halberd break?

It's certain that Li Ming didn't make a move. Could the opponent's physical body really withstand a weapon? That's impossible.

Lu Bu delivered another heavy blow, shattering his halberd into pieces.

The shock made Lu Bu's right arm go numb. He was unwilling to admit defeat and attacked Li Ming frantically, throwing punches and palm strikes continuously. But Li Ming stood there like a mountain, letting him hit him.

Are you doing gua sha?

Li Ming looked at him.

Throughout this process, he didn't use any force; he just stood there and let him hit him.

"Drink!" Provoked, Lü Bu attacked again.

As a result, he was exhausted and covered in sweat, his fists were full of blood, and he couldn't even hit this person who was standing in front of him.

Li Ming's eyes flashed as he glanced at him.

Lu Bu suddenly felt as if a terrifying mountain had fallen from the sky, so terrifying that it made him feel breathless and his mouth dry.

Bang.

The body went out of control, flew out, and crashed to the ground.

Lu Bu didn't even see how Li Ming made his move before he was sent flying and crashed heavily to the ground.

If this young man wanted to kill him, he would probably die instantly. He is definitely a master recluse.

"Greetings, sir." Lü Bu got up, cupped his hands in a bow, and said respectfully.

“Red Hare is quite nice.” Li Ming ignored him and simply stepped forward to touch the horse.

"Sir, be careful, this horse has a very strong temper..."

Before Lü Bu could say anything, he saw Li Ming stroking Red Hare as if he were stroking a dog.

Red Hare's eyes were filled with terror, its legs went weak, and it knelt before Li Ming.

It didn't want to kneel, but the person in front of it was too terrifying, like facing a deep abyss, which instilled fear in it.

Li Ming stroked the horse's mane. The horse wasn't very good, but it was beautiful.

According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Lü Bu was exceptionally skilled in martial arts.

Originally a favorite general of Ding Yuan, Dong Zhuo's adversary, Lü Bu was recruited by Dong Zhuo in order to win over this fierce general. So, following the advice of his strategist Li Su, Dong Zhuo offered the Red Hare horse and a thousand taels of gold as bait.

Upon seeing the Red Hare, Lü Bu was overjoyed and killed Ding Yuan, then recognized Dong Zhuo as his adoptive father.

From then on, a famous horse and a fierce general complemented each other perfectly, hence the saying, "Among men, Lü Bu; among horses, Red Hare."

Subsequently, Lü Bu was captured by Cao Cao, along with his men and horses.

Lü Bu was killed.

Red Hare then fell into Cao Cao's hands.

After the Battle of Xuzhou, Guan Yu was separated from Liu Bei and Zhang Fei and was forced to temporarily submit to Cao Cao, but declared that he would surrender to the Han Dynasty but not to Cao Cao.

Cao Cao presented Guan Yu with numerous lavish gifts, but Guan Yu remained unmoved. However, when Cao Cao reluctantly parted with his beloved Red Hare, Guan Yu bowed again in gratitude!

With this steed that can travel a thousand miles a day, he can reunite with his sworn brother Liu Bei in their old haunts as soon as possible.

Cao Cao was filled with regret, but there was nothing he could do about it!

From then on, Red Hare became Guan Yu's mount.

In short, Red Hare passed through the hands of Dong Zhuo, Lü Bu, and Cao Cao, and finally became Guan Yu's mount.

This horse is truly the king of horses, ridden by so many outstanding figures.

As Li Ming stroked Red Hare, he suddenly remembered something. The main character present this time was Lü Bu, not Red Hare. He almost got them mixed up, how embarrassing.

"You must be Lü Bu."

"Indeed, sir, may I ask where this place is?"

Li Ming told him to come with him, while the black dog and the green vine went to tease the Red Hare. Lu Bu was secretly shocked but didn't say much. The fact that his Red Hare could be tamed so easily was strange.

During his conversation with Lü Bu, Li Ming learned about the timeline of Lü Bu's arrival.

In April of 192, Situ Wang Yun and Lü Bu, a subordinate of Dong Zhuo, were plotting to kill Dong Zhuo. After some planning, Lü Bu personally killed the licentious and plundering Dong Zhuo.

After Dong Zhuo's death, Chang'an was thrown into chaos.

Then something strange happened: Diao Chan, whom she had always thought was just a pretty face, actually had tens of thousands of soldiers, and even Wang Yun had to obey her orders.

"This woman is quite cunning. I don't know where she learned military strategy and political tactics. What's even stranger is that she knows a kind of martial art. When she uses it, a moon appears behind her. She claims to be the reincarnation of the moon fairy from heaven, who came to earth to save people from suffering. Unexpectedly, everyone believed her."

Upon hearing this, Li Ming's lips twitched. Diao Chan was so clever and truly courageous. He wondered how far she could go, but he was still somewhat looking forward to it.

"So where are you going on Red Hare now?"
