Chapter 37 Spoilers: Qin Er Shi Dies

The library, located next to the sky pavilion, is a uniquely designed building.

There are eighteen floors in total, but only five floors can be opened at present.

The five-story library is vast and boundless, with each floor containing more books, including explosive talismans, esoteric formations, forbidden soul-burning techniques, illustrated erotic books, and secret arts of heaven and earth.

In short, the library has a huge collection of books; you can find almost anything you want to learn.

Li Ming used the immortal technique "One Mind, Six Functions," which took him a hundred years to finish reading. He understood it thoroughly and gained a lot, mastering many techniques.

Now, he has reached the 1000th level of Qi Refining, possesses various immortal techniques and magical treasures, and with the reward of the Dragon Pattern Wooden Token, he feels that he is not afraid even if he sets foot in the vast Zuzhou.

"What is that place?" Qin Shi Huang followed Li Ming to the library and noticed a pavilion not far from it.

"Armory," Li Ming said.

Unfortunately, it cannot be opened now. The armory is not sealed, but restricted and restrained. We don't know what important treasures are inside.

Qin Shi Huang then asked, "Is this a place where weapons exist?"

"Hmm." Li Ming nodded, not saying much about the armory, and said, "Let's go into the library first, and I'll tell you about the basics of cultivation."

Li Ming walked into the first floor of the library and tossed him all the basic theories of the library, saying, "Take a look for a while first."

Qin Shi Huang was first struck by the sheer volume of books inside, densely packed with records about cultivating immortality. He quickly regained his composure and focused his attention on the two books Li Ming had given him.

"A Beginner's Guide to Cultivating Immortality"

The basic theory of the cultivation system.

He was engrossed in watching it, completely unaware that half an hour had passed by the time he stopped.

Li Ming asked, "Can you understand it?"

"The 'Introduction to Immortality' explains how to cultivate, but the 'Basic Theory of the Immortality System' truly begins the path to immortality, describing the various stages such as Qi Refining, Foundation Building, Enlightenment, Fasting, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Out-of-Body, Spirit Division, Body Integration, and Tribulation Transcending. Each stage has a corresponding description. Immortal, what stage are you in now?"

"I'm a little different from the ones above."

Li Ming is still in the Qi Refining stage, but only at level 1000. He himself doesn't know how his Qi Refining is progressing; he feels something is off and doesn't want to talk about it further. He said:

"I'll give you a copy of the Qi Refining Manual, which has 13 levels." The copy Li Ming gave him was a normal copy of the Qi Refining Manual, which was different from his own.

The Qi Refining Technique was originally a guiding exercise for cultivating immortality, that is, a basic immortal technique with thirteen ultimate levels.

The immortal technique he cultivated was also called "Qi Refining Technique," but it was completely different from the ordinary "Qi Refining Technique."

His "Qi Cultivation Manual" was found in his Taoist master's room.

Even more outrageous is that it was still an incomplete version, and then the dragon-patterned wooden plaque guided him to continuously break through the levels of the "Qi Refining Technique" until now, when he has reached the 1000th level of Qi Refining.

I wonder how many levels this thing can break through.

Qin Shi Huang carefully read the "Qi Cultivation Manual." This book was quite different from the one he had just read, because he was about to begin real cultivation, and he had never been exposed to cultivation before.

I can understand a lot of things, and it feels like I can do it, but I can't put it into practice.

Li Ming was there to guide him.

After about three hours, he finally completed a full cycle of the microcosmic orbit.

Li Ming continued to have him try the Great Circulation Cycle.

Six hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Li Ming stared at his dragon-patterned wooden plaque, which showed the time "28". No wonder it gave him two days. It turned out that one day was not enough for Qin Shi Huang to squander.

Teaching an ordinary person who has never cultivated before takes far too much time.

After Qin Shi Huang completed the second cycle of the Small Heavenly Circuit and the Great Heavenly Circuit, the dragon-patterned wooden plaque displayed the number "24". Unexpectedly, a day had passed just like that.

Fortunately, Qin Shi Huang had good aptitude and comprehension, and he finally managed to get started.

Li Ming did not let him continue cultivating, but instead explained various cultivation knowledge and points worth noting to him.

Qin Shi Huang listened with great interest, and after two hours of explanation, he was instructed to practice the "Qi Refining Technique".

He also had some understanding of cultivation. As he sat cross-legged and absorbed Li Ming's knowledge, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth subtly gathered around him, which pleased Li Ming greatly.

Time flew by, and eight hours passed.

Qin Shi Huang was skilled in breathing techniques and mastered the cultivation method of the "Qi Refining Technique".

He felt completely refreshed, with a faint energy coursing through his body, a level far superior to the "elixir" he had taken. This was true immortality cultivation.

You can feel the power flowing through your body.

I feel that it won't be long before I can break through the first level of the Qi Refining Technique.

Its current power is many times stronger than before.

He's definitely cultivated to become an immortal.

He was the one who created the vast Immortal Qin.

His eyes flashed with sharpness and murderous intent, one could imagine a vast empire standing tall in the long river of history, and a smile involuntarily crept onto his lips.

Just as he was about to continue cultivating, Li Ming gestured for him to stop.

If I continue cultivating, time will run out.

The path ahead is his own to walk. Whether it's cultivating on his own or building the vast Immortal Qin, it's all his business, and Li Ming doesn't care.

"Immortal, what is it?" Qin Shi Huang stood up and glanced at Li Ming, who was drawing something on a piece of white paper with a pen, but it was not very clear.

"I can tell fortunes, you know?" Li Ming planned to reveal some things to him.

"Then please, immortal, help me divine whether I can achieve immortality?"

"No," Li Ming said resolutely.

"..." Qin Shi Huang opened his eyes wide, staring at Li Ming, his sharp aura bursting forth.

"If you hadn't come here, you would have died at the age of 49 during your tour. Zhao Gao, in collusion with Li Si, would have altered the edict of succession, installed Huhai as emperor, and forged an edict to order the deaths of the eldest son Fusu and the general Meng Tian."

Incredulity was evident in Qin Shi Huang's eyes.

Zhao Gao!

Li Si!

Hu Hai!

How dare they do that?

Hu Hai was his son, and Li Si was his capable assistant.

Qin Shi Huang was in a state of great confusion and found it hard to believe. Suddenly, he noticed a problem.

He will die at 49.

The amount of information was overwhelming and hard to process at once. My emotions hadn't calmed down yet, but what shocked me even more was what Li Ming said next, which made it difficult for me to breathe.

"The Qin dynasty only lasted two generations," Li Ming said firmly, still unhurriedly drawing a map from his memory on a piece of white paper.

"How is this possible? I don't believe it."

Qin Shi Huang staggered two steps; it wasn't that he didn't believe it, but that he found it hard to accept.

How could this be? It perished after only two generations.

If it had been someone other than an immortal who uttered those words, Qin Shi Huang would have immediately drawn his sword and killed him, tearing him apart by five horses.

“Then I’ll let you see yourself with your own eyes, and the scene of the Qin Dynasty’s downfall,” Li Ming said.

Qin Shi Huang was greatly shocked: "What do you think?"
