Chapter 45 Zhang Sanfeng Enters the Immortal Path Through Martial Arts

"Cultivation of Immortality?"

Zhang Sanfeng clenched his fists, his expression excited, his eyes gleaming with a sharp light, half believing and half doubting.

A faint smile appeared on Li Ming's lips, and a miniature Zhang Sanfeng made of peach blossoms still stood on his fingertips.

As strands of spiritual energy emerged from his fingertips, peach blossoms scattered like celestial maidens, falling to the ground.

A terrifying chaotic mist instantly appeared on his body, accompanied by thunderous lightning.

In Zhang Sanfeng's eyes, Li Ming's entire demeanor changed; his black hair flew wildly, and his white feather robe fluttered, as if he were in a chaotic mist.

Like a god.

Zhang Sanfeng stared in disbelief.

To be honest, he didn't believe it. There was no such thing as immortality cultivation in this world; there was only Taoist cultivation and martial arts practice.

Cultivating immortality is impossible.

Based on his century of experience, he couldn't believe it yet and had to test the waters.

He took the initiative and launched a fierce attack on Li Ming.

He unleashed all his century-old internal energy, his palm forming a fist, and a surge of internal force erupted, attempting to break through the visible power, but he was completely unable to budge it.

The boy was like a mountain, standing firm and unmoved by wind and rain.

Li Ming stood still, a thought flashing through his mind.

Spiritual energy coiled out and surrounded the body, and layers of Qi cultivation power roared out, transforming into great rivers and vast oceans.

Zhang Sanfeng was thrown dozens of feet away, his pupils contracting continuously.

Li Mingqiang surprised him; even when he circulated his internal energy, he couldn't budge Li Mingqiang in the slightest.

If he knew that Li Ming had only made a slight move, he would probably be shocked.

"Next, I'd like to see your Tai Chi sword."

With a wave of his hand, Li Ming sent a sword flying out from the pavilion in the air; it was the Fairy Sword.

It was Zhao Ling'er who fell in, and after she left, the dragon-patterned wooden plaque rewarded her with a sword.

Although this sword is not a divine weapon, it is still considered a fairly good magical artifact.

"Then I won't stand on ceremony."

Zhang Sanfeng took the Fairy Sword and used the Tai Chi Sword Technique.

He devoted his life to studying two unique skills: Tai Chi Chuan and Tai Chi Sword.

Having spent a century honing his two ultimate techniques to their peak, he swiftly unleashed his attack, the sword intent roaring, peach blossoms filling the air, petals falling in profusion, the sword intent boundless.

He unleashed a terrifying power from the gentle Tai Chi sword energy.

They continuously launched offensive campaigns.

A powerful, masculine inner force roared, and peach blossoms danced in the air.

His speed was so fast that in the blink of an eye, hundreds of figures materialized and swirled around Li Ming.

The Tai Chi swordplay and Tai Chi boxing roared, like a dragon going berserk.

But no matter how he attacked, Li Ming stood still, and Zhang Sanfeng couldn't break through his spiritual energy defense.

He only demonstrated 36 layers of spiritual power.

If he were to unleash all 1022 layers of his spiritual power, Zhang Sanfeng would likely be instantly crushed into dust.

Li Ming withdrew his spiritual energy defense, hid his left hand behind his back, and only extended two fingers of his right hand to fight him.

They probably exchanged dozens of moves.

Zhang Sanfeng, covered in sweat and panting, said, "I've exhausted all my internal energy."

He sat on the ground, panting, his cheeks covered in sweat.

Li Ming walked behind him, put his hand on his shoulder, and began to circulate spiritual energy around him. After a few seconds, Zhang Sanfeng was full of energy.

He stared at Li Ming in astonishment; this was a skill that only an immortal could possess.

He stared blankly for a long time, not coming back to his senses, until Li Ming spoke up and brought his wandering thoughts back.

"Do you know why you can't beat me?" Li Mingfeng said casually.

"Please enlighten me." Zhang Sanfeng did not look down on Li Ming because of his young age, but asked him with a thirst for knowledge.

“My internal cultivation is different from yours. I can transform spiritual energy into spiritual power and store it in my body. Spiritual power can also be transformed.”

As Li Ming spoke, he solidified his spiritual power into a fairy sword. The fairy sword then shattered, transforming into a clock tower, which then continued to transform into a dog.

Then, with a wave of his hand, he returned to his true self.

Everything vanished without a trace.

Zhang Sanfeng's eyes lit up; perhaps his path could achieve a new breakthrough.

"I have been stuck at the peak of martial arts for a long time without making a breakthrough. I want to seek a new path."

“A new path?” Li Ming looked at him and said, “A new path is not martial arts; one must take the path of cultivating immortality.”

"I am willing to enter the immortal sect through martial arts and seek a new path."

He has spent his whole life pursuing the ultimate in Tai Chi, and now he has reached the peak, but there has been no further progress.

We must find a new path for Tai Chi to achieve new breakthroughs.

Li Ming laughed and said, "Well done, entering the immortal realm through martial arts. Follow me."

Zhang Sanfeng followed behind him, his eyes taking in the surroundings. With flowing water on both banks and pavilions in the air, it wouldn't be wrong to call this place a fairyland.

Li Ming led him to the first floor of the library.

Zhang Sanfeng is different from figures like Qin Shi Huang and Zhu Yuanzhang. He has a very good foundation and is even better at martial arts than I am. Now, all I need to do is give him a little guidance.

That would allow him to transform from practicing martial arts to cultivating immortality.

Just as I expected, after I explained some common basic knowledge points to him, he began to study the knowledge of cultivation in the library.

"Can I take all of this with me?"

Zhang Sanfeng looked at Li Ming with an eagerness for talent, thinking they were all good people.

He wanted to take everything away so he could study it slowly when he got back.

"Let me make a copy for you, only the key knowledge on the first floor of the library."

If it were just one or two books, that would be fine, but he wanted too many. I couldn't take them all with me, so I could only make copies of the rubbings.

Thank you.

Zhang Sanfeng felt that the first floor of the library was sufficient.
