Guoguang

Guoguang

"Guoguang~"

Early in the morning, thirty minutes before the scheduled meeting time for the return trip, Tezuka had already arrived.

He had just placed his suitcase aside when he heard someone call his name from behind. The clear, melodious voice carried an unusually lazy, morning tone, like a feather brushing against his heart.

It turns out that being called by name can be a heartwarming thing.

A smile crept into the corners of his eyes. He turned around and saw her pushing her suitcase, waving as she walked towards him.

Seeing her bright smile, he took three steps at a time and walked towards her, naturally taking the suitcase from her hands and walking forward with her.

The simple yet intimate gesture lifted Hezou's spirits to another level. She released her grip on the suitcase, gently slung it behind her back, and turned to look at him: "Good morning, boyfriend."

The way she addressed him made Tezuka raise the corners of his lips again.

He mimicked her sentence structure, smiling as he said, "Good morning, girlfriend." But from this angle, he could clearly see the dark circles under her eyes, the faint blue standing out starkly against her fair skin, causing Tezuka to frown slightly. "Didn't you sleep well?"

Upon hearing this, Kanade blinked and honestly admitted, "Ah, maybe a little... excited." She touched the area under her eyes. "Is it that obvious?"

I was so happy that I thought about him all night long.

It's so straightforward, it's like another confession.

Tezuka let out a soft breath and looked down at her: "No."

The chill of the winter morning was still quite strong. Noticing her slightly red fingertips, he placed the two suitcases side by side, then reached out and cupped her slightly cool hands in his palms.

Knowing that her hands were always cold, he had always wanted to do that.

He Zou smiled, her fingertips curling in his palm as he warmed her hands. His hands were large, completely enveloping hers, the calluses on his palms rubbing against the cool skin on the back of her hands, causing a slight itch.

Looking up at his face so close to hers, Kazusa's heart stirred, and then she gently withdrew her hand.

Tezuka looked up at the smile in her eyes and raised an eyebrow, waiting for her next move.

Sure enough, with a smile on his face, she grabbed the front of his coat, gently pulled herself into his embrace, and wrapped her arms around his waist through the coat.

Tezuka chuckled, then readily tightened his arms around her, embracing her completely, his chin gently brushing against the top of her head.

She rested her chin on his chest and looked up at him confidently: "It's warmer this way."

"Ah," he responded softly, tightening his grip on her arm.

She didn't miss the tenderness in his eyes, and chuckled silently in his arms.

He must have showered after his morning run; his hair was still damp, and in addition to the familiar scent of cedar, he exuded a refreshing aroma of soapberry.

She liked it very much.

With a sudden thought, He Zou raised her head in his arms, her purple eyes sparkling.

"Hmm?" Tezuka looked at her, thinking she was about to say something.

She stirred in his arms, a look of joy in her eyes. Then, she tiptoed—

A soft, clear, and instantly detached sensation came from my cheek.

"Good morning kiss," she said with a smile, her eyes gleaming mischievously as she watched his Adam's apple bob slightly.

After much restraint, Tezuka slowly lowered his head, his forehead touching hers, their noses lightly brushing together.

The distance is too close.

They were so close that they could see their own reflections in each other's eyes and feel the warm, moist breath from each other's lips.

The lenses were fogged up.

"Haha~" Kazusa laughed out loud.

“...Melodia”.

Under his restrained yet helpless gaze, He Zou, still held in his arms in an intimate pose, raised her hands to remove her glasses, which were in the way at the moment, and put them into his coat pocket.

After doing all that, she stood on tiptoe, looked at him innocently, and even generously moved her face closer to his: "Hey~"

A smile flashed in her phoenix eyes.

He slowly approached again, and just before he was about to touch her, he brushed her lips away, finally leaving a soft yet burning kiss on her cheek.

A restrained kiss, unlike what I had expected.

He was teasing her.

He Zou's eyelashes trembled slightly, her heart feeling as if it were being soaked in warm water. She tilted her head up slightly, chasing his breath, her lips inadvertently brushing against his chin.

"Almost." She complained softly, but there was no blame in her tone, only a smile rising from his rarely seen pleasure.

The emotions that had been suppressed surged up instantly, and the color of his brown eyes deepened even further.

“Melodia.” He called her name, with a suppressed plea, or perhaps just wanted to call her name.

"Hmm?" she responded, her voice soft from the kiss.

He said, "Want to go on a date?"

As it approached the assembly time, the training ground gradually filled up with people.

Kazusa was standing next to the bus heading to Narita Airport, saying goodbye to Professor Antberg. Tezuka's coach, Kerber, was also fast asleep, leaning back in a window seat on the same bus.

The competition was over, and so was the Japan portion of the German-Japanese project. Considering that her winter break was not yet over, Antberg specially allowed her to stay in Japan for another week before he and his classmates returned to Germany.

Antberg's usually stern face softened with a rare gentleness as he gave her some instructions.

He listened with his head tilted slightly upward, nodding occasionally, his expression focused and attentive.

Tezuka stood quietly by the Seigaku bus, waiting, his gaze fixed on her.

She nodded, her eyes bright, as if she didn't know what Professor Antberg had said to her.

Professor Antberg patted her on the shoulder with satisfaction.

She watched as she politely bid farewell to the professor and watched him turn and leave.

This is the true Yagyu Kazune.

At first glance, Melodia appeared calm and confident.

Then, she turned around, her gaze almost instantly piercing through the crowd and precisely catching his eye.

Their eyes met.

Tezuka watched as the composure on her face, which she had maintained while talking to the professor, melted instantly, replaced by a softer, more intimate smile.

This change filled Tezuka with a sense of calm satisfaction. His stern features softened, and he nodded slightly to her from a distance.

Watching her walk briskly through the crowd, amidst the curious and excited gazes of many, she headed towards him.

Not wanting her to face those gazes alone, Tezuka reached out his hand to her when she was still a few steps away.

She quickened her pace, took his outstretched hand, stood close to him, and called his name with a smile.

"Guoguang".

!!

The moment those two words were uttered, the once bustling assembly area was reduced to the sound of bus engines.

Amid a collective gasp, Kazuna spoke nonchalantly, "The professor assigned me holiday homework," her tone carrying a hint of eager anticipation, "I'll be spending the next few days at the National Library."

Tezuka looked at her, a hint of a smile in his eyes.

Few people are this excited about receiving winter break homework; it seems they've already decided on their next date location.

“Hmm,” he replied, his gaze falling on her radiant face. “I was just about to go find some books myself.”

Although he dominated the court, he still had to do his holiday homework.

This fact somehow tickled Kanade's funny bone; she looked up at him and laughed.

Tezuka: "?"

Seeing his puzzled look, He Zou laughed even more happily.

Seeing her smile like that, Tezuka's doubts quickly dissipated. He brushed aside a stray strand of hair that had fallen from the corner of her eye, looked at her cheeks flushed from smiling, held her hand tightly to support her swaying body, and indulged her with a look of approval.

After a while, He Zou stopped laughing, looked at the two suitcases beside him, and shook her boyfriend's hand: "Guoguang, wait for me."

"good."

He let go of his hand, pushed the suitcase, and walked to the Rikkai Bus stop next door.

"Hiro~"

When Yagyu Hiroshi was called to a stop, he paused, looking down at his cousin, then up at Tezuka Kunimitsu standing not far behind her. Seeing Tezuka meet his gaze and walk towards him, Yagyu Hiroshi's already furrowed brows furrowed even more deeply.

He looked away, staring blankly at his cousin, a premonition already forming in his mind.

Sure enough, she pushed her suitcase in front of him and said frankly, "Hiro, I need to go to the National Library first today, so please take my luggage home with me."

Yagyu Hiroshi: "..." His gaze passed over her and fell on Tezuka Kunimitsu, who stood tall and composed behind her.

Sensing his gaze, the other person stopped beside Mero and politely nodded slightly as a greeting, their eyes clear and open.

"..." Yagyu Hiroshi was silent for two seconds, but finally took the suitcase handle she handed him. "Come back soon."

There was a hint of warning in his tone.

"Thank you, Hiro. I'll bring you some Tokyo specialties when I get back." Kanade immediately beamed, but she automatically ignored the last sentence.

The distance between Kanagawa and Tokyo isn't so far that you need to bring back special souvenirs...

Behind the reflective lenses, it looked as if Yagyu Hiroshi was rolling his eyes.

Ignoring him, having resolved the luggage issue, she looked at Tezuka, tilted her head back, and laughed, "All done! Kunimitsu, let's go."

“Okay.” Tezuka looked at her bright smile, nodded, and then nodded again to Yagyu Hiroshi, “Thank you for your help… Yagyu.”

Previously it was "Yagyu-kun", today it's "Yagyu". The difference of just one character reveals the intentions.

Who says Tezuka Kunimitsu is rigid?

Moreover, his words caused Yagyu Hiroshi's lips to twitch uncontrollably—that was his sister, how dare he, Tezuka Kunimitsu, an outsider, say "it's troublesome"?

However, the Yagyu family's upbringing ensured that Hiroshi maintained basic politeness, and he said to the two in a tone devoid of emotion, "Be careful on the road."

After saying that, he turned around without looking back, picked up his suitcase, and boarded the Rikkai University bus.

"Heh, brother-in-law."

On the Lihai bus——

Niou patted his partner sitting next to him on the shoulder: "Hey, relax, Hiroshi, take it easy."

Yagyu said coldly, "Lord Renwang, remove your hand."

It seems that "King Ren" is in a very bad mood.

Niou shrugged, watching the two walking hand-in-hand towards the Seigaku bus through the car window, bouncing around in his partner's minefield: "Aren't they a pretty good match, puri~"

On the other side—

Recalling his cousin's attitude earlier, He Zou narrowed his eyes: "Guoguang, did he just give me a cold laugh?"

"..." Tezuka paused for a moment, then said honestly, "No." Even if there were, they would probably be directed at him.

So, He Zou put his cousin's attitude out of his mind and shook his hand.

Well, I'll go on my date first.
