Chapter 74 Arrival at the Family Compound
Kuncheng Railway Station
Lu Huailin carefully carried Gu Yihan in his arms towards the exit, finally squeezing through the crowd and safely getting off the train.
After getting off the train, Gu Yihan took a deep breath of fresh air. In this era, it was allowed to bring live chickens and ducks on the train, but the smell was really not good in the sealed space.

As Xiao Wu began, he asked curiously, "Sister-in-law, how did you and the regimental commander meet?"

Lu Huailin pulled Gu Yihan into the house: "Let's not talk about others, come inside and see if there's anything else we need to buy."
Gu Yihan followed him into the living room, then went straight to the bedroom, where she saw the mailed package on the bed and a wardrobe.
A moment later, Lu Huailin came in carrying a stool, hugged Gu Yihan and said, "Xiao Wu has already cleaned the furniture, bed and cabinets."
After saying that, he pulled Gu Yihan and pressed her down on the bench: "Sit down and rest for a while, I'll make the bed."
Lu Huailin opened the package directly, put the clothes he didn't need into the closet, took out the bedding and spread it on the bed, and put the unused sheets and blankets into the closet as well.
Gu Yihan felt a warmth in her heart as she watched Lu Huailin busy himself with everything. Although she had never been in a relationship, she knew that marriage was not something that could be achieved by one person's efforts alone.
