Chapter 254 Be Vigilant

Today is Hao Hao's first birthday, and Gu Yihan is preparing to take Grandma Gu and Hao Hao to a photo studio in the city to take pictures to commemorate the occasion.
After washing up, she picked out a military-style uniform from the closet, put it on, braided two pigtails, tidied her bangs, and walked out of the bedroom with a smile.
"Grandma, how do I look in this outfit?" Gu Yihan spread her arms and spun around in place, smiling as she asked her grandmother.
Grandma Gu was serving rice at the dining table when she heard her granddaughter's question and looked up at her.
He chuckled and said, "She looks good. My granddaughter looks good in anything."
Upon hearing this, Gu Yihan smiled, walked to Grandma Gu's side, and kissed Hao Hao, who was sitting in the baby chair.
He looked up at her and smiled, "Grandma, you're the best at sweet-talking people."
Upon hearing this, Grandma Gu glared at her granddaughter and said, "This outfit is horribly ugly, and the person is ugly too. I've never seen such an ugly daughter-in-law and person."
"Ugly." Hao Hao's soft, babyish voice echoed Grandma Gu's.
"Pfft"
Gu Yihan couldn't help but laugh out loud, glancing at Hao Hao who was eating rice cereal.

The family of three finished breakfast in a lively atmosphere. Gu Yihan looked at Hao Hao, while Grandma Gu went back to the bedroom to change her clothes.

Gu Yihan heard a knock on the door.
She picked up Hao Hao and walked quickly over. When she opened the courtyard gate, she saw Secretary Jiang standing at the door and was stunned for a moment.
She immediately frowned and looked at him warily.
He said coldly, "Secretary Jiang, who gave you the signature to enter the family compound?"
Military family compound isn't a place where just any stranger can enter. She wouldn't believe someone could find her door so accurately without someone leading the way.
Seeing that Gu Yihan's attitude was not very good, Secretary Jiang did not answer her question.
Instead, he looked at her with a gentle smile and said, "Officer Gu, I've come today to discuss something with you."
Seeing Secretary Jiang's deliberately innocent smile, Gu Yihan felt a warning bell ring in her mind.
Ignoring him, she shifted her gaze to Zeng Xiao, who was standing next to him.
She was carrying various high-end gifts, which were obviously expensive items bought at the Friendship Store.

Gu Yihan immediately refused, saying, "There shouldn't be anything between us that we can discuss privately."
She shifted the arm she was holding onto Hao Hao and said coldly, "If it's work-related, you shouldn't be at my house."
Secretary Jiang's smile froze on her face, a hint of displeasure flashing in her eyes. She patiently asked, "Director Gu, could we come inside and talk?"
Gu Yihan glanced at Secretary Jiang. This guy wanted to get into her house without giving a reason. He was dreaming.
"Secretary Jiang, let's talk about this when I get to work."
After speaking, Gu Yihan didn't give Secretary Jiang a chance to refuse and raised her hand to close the courtyard gate.
"ah……"
Zeng Xiao suddenly reached out and grabbed the door frame, but her fingers were caught in Gu Yihan's action of closing the door.
Hearing her shout, Gu Yihan subconsciously stopped closing the door.
"Officer Gu, we've come today to apologize to you!" Zeng Xiao said anxiously to Gu Yihan, ignoring the pain in her hand.

Grandma Gu's gaze swept around the doorway, and seeing a tree branch on one side, she bent down and picked it up without thinking.
Suddenly, he slapped Secretary Jiang: "You shameless bastard, how dare you bully my precious child?"
Secretary Jiang was stunned; she had never seen anyone resort to violence at the slightest disagreement.
After being slapped twice, they immediately pulled away the stunned Zeng Xiao and dodged left and right.
Seeing this, Gu Yihan immediately put Hao Hao on the ground and instructed, "Hao Hao, don't move."
Hao Hao blinked his big eyes, watching curiously as Grandma Gu chased after Secretary Jiang.
Gu Yihan ran to Grandma Gu's side and stopped her, saying, "Grandma, it's not worth ruining your health."
After saying that, he turned around and looked at Secretary Jiang, whose face was pale.
He said coldly, "Secretary Jiang, only you know whether you really want to apologize or if it's for something else."
"As for your apology, I do not accept it and I will not forgive you. You will receive the punishment you deserve."

Gu Yihan interrupted Secretary Jiang and sneered, "If everyone were like you, committing acts of framing others and then casually offering an apology, what would be the point of having the police?"

Zeng Xiao saw Secretary Jiang looking disheveled, her face ashen, standing there staring blankly at Gu Yihan's door.
