Gu Yihan carefully helped Zhao Ju up the stairs; Zhao Ju lived on the second floor.
Upon reaching the second floor, Gu Yihan observed that the corridor of the tenement building was cluttered with various items and was not very spacious.

Zhao Ju walked to her door, pushed it but couldn't open it, then raised her hand to knock on the door, turning her head to look at Gu Yihan: "Wait a moment, come in and sit for a while, come chat with me when you're resting."
When Shi Jianguo's mother heard the knocking, she knew that her spoiled daughter-in-law had returned.
She pursed her lips, opened the door, and said, "So you know how to come back, huh? If you're so capable, then don't come back at all. Do you think your family lives around here?"
Gu Yihan looked up at Shi Jianguo's mother and saw her gentle face. She really didn't expect that these words could come out of this person's mouth.
"Auntie, Zhao Ju is heavily pregnant and hasn't come back. Aren't you worried about her safety?"

The door slammed so loudly. The apartment building wasn't soundproof to begin with, and everyone opened their doors and peeked out to look at Gu Yihan. She hadn't been in the family compound for long, and many of the military wives didn't recognize her.
Gu Yihan ignored their gazes and walked straight past their doorway.
"Crunch"
Lin Yifei finished his meal, opened the door, and prepared to go downstairs to the duty room. Just then, Gu Yihan passed by the other person's door: "Xiaohan?"
Gu Yihan turned to look at Lin Yifei, then looked behind him, not seeing Qiao Shuhui: "Commander Lin, you live here too?"
Lin Yifei smiled and nodded, "What brings you to the family dormitory building?"
As Gu Yihan walked downstairs, she turned her head and looked at Lin Yifei, saying, "I'm dropping off my friend; she also lives in the family dormitory."
Lin Yifei walked beside Gu Yihan and said, "Ya Jing knows you're in the army, and she still complains about you."
"You didn't even tell her you were getting married, you don't treat her like a friend. You asked me to tell you to remember to write to her."
