Chapter 205 Rumors and Infidelity
When we returned to the family compound.
It was already getting dark.
Lu Huailin held his wife's soft hand and said, "Wife, you go home first."
Gu Yihan nodded, knowing that Lu Huailin would probably be busy until very late.
As soon as Aunt Chen stepped out of her house, she saw Gu Yihan standing at the door and said with a smile, "Xiaohan is back?"
Gu Yihan looked at the quilt in Aunt Chen's arms and asked in confusion, "Aunt Chen, is it okay to air out quilts at this hour?"

She glanced at the quilt spread on the straw mat on the ground and asked with a smile, "Grandma, that's a great idea."
Grandma Gu was very happy to hear her granddaughter's praise, and quickly walked to the dining table to continue making milk powder.

Grandma Gu sighed and said, "I wonder if the new neighbors will be easy to get along with."
Gu Yihan looked at Grandma Gu in confusion, wondering if she had misheard, and asked again, "A new neighbor?"
Grandma Gu nodded and said, "He's the new regimental commander."
"Can you just change houses in the family compound?" Gu Yihan asked curiously.
However, she then thought that the houses in the family compound were allocated by the military, and since the two families had reached an agreement, it wasn't impossible to work out.
Grandma Gu sat next to her granddaughter and whispered in her ear, "I heard that they gave Aunt Chen a lot of benefits."
Gu Yihan looked at Grandma Gu in surprise: "Giving benefits too?"

Gu Yihan became even more curious about the neighbors who hadn't moved in yet.

After finishing breakfast, Gu Yihan kissed the little one who was drinking milk.
Grandma Gu quickly pushed Gu Yihan away and said irritably, "We don't have pig tails in our family."
Gu Yihan smiled and said, "Grandma, I'm holding back."
Grandma Gu didn't believe her. Last time, she had made Hao Hao drool for days because Hao Hao pinched her cheek.

"Let go," Secretary Jiang hissed.
"No!" Ye Qingqing clung tightly to Secretary Jiang's arm, refusing to let go.
Secretary Jiang looked at her coldly, then pushed Ye Qingqing down with force, and sneered, "I'm not a gentleman."
Before leaving, he glanced at Gu Yihan, who was hiding behind the bicycle.
After being pushed down, Ye Qingqing gave up and sat on the ground, kicking her legs and wailing like a child.
Seeing that Secretary Jiang didn't turn around to look at her, she stopped crying.

She had just bent down to put the chain on when she heard Secretary Jiang and Ye Qingqing's voices. Her luck was truly unbelievable.
"Oh," Hu Shan nodded, parked her bicycle, and then took Gu Yihan's arm as they walked towards the office.
Ye Qingqing cried herself to sleep, stood up and wandered aimlessly, accidentally bumping into Cheng Bo.
"Are you blind?!" Ye Qingqing shouted, clutching her nose which had been bruised and sore.
Cheng Bo turned to look at Ye Qingqing, whose eyes were red, and said through gritted teeth, "Who's blind? You bumped into my back, and you're blaming others?"
When Ye Qingqing looked up and saw that it was Cheng Bo, she immediately went up to him and patted him, "Waaah...you're all bullying me."
Cheng Bo originally wanted to make sarcastic remarks about Ye Qingqing, but seeing her crying so sadly, he changed his mind.
I couldn't help but advise, "There are so many outstanding men out there, isn't every one of them better than Secretary Jiang?"
"Hiccup!" Ye Qingqing hiccuped and glared at Cheng Bo before shoving him away: "Mind your own business!"
A female worker in the workshop accidentally witnessed this scene and was so frightened that her heart pounded and she didn't even go to the toilet.
After running back to the workshop, he shouted, "It's terrible! Officer Cheng is having an affair!"
That one sentence caused an uproar in the workshop.
"Really?" another textile worker asked skeptically.
"I saw it with my own eyes, how could it be fake?"
The female worker in the workshop raised her hand and swore, "May I be struck by lightning if I lie."
In no time, the whole workshop knew that Cheng Bo was having an affair with a pretty woman.

Minjie looked at Gu Yihan wiping the desk and asked curiously, "Xiaohan, are there any nice clothes in the provincial capital?"
Upon hearing this, Gu Yihan looked up at her and shook her head, saying, "I don't know."
"Didn't you go to the department store?" Hu Shan asked in surprise.
"What's so interesting about shopping? Aren't all department stores the same?" Gu Yihan retorted.
If I want to buy something, the provincial capital has it, and Kunming also has it. But if I buy it there, I have to bring it back, which is too much trouble!
