Hospital entrance
"sister in law?"
Gu Yihan was pushing her bicycle when she heard Shen Yujie's voice behind her. She turned around and saw him standing not far away in a white coat.
Shen Yujie strode forward to Gu Yihan, a look of doubt in his eyes, and asked, "Sister-in-law, what are you doing at the hospital so late?"
While Zhao Ju was in the delivery room, Gu Yihan was on edge the whole time and didn't feel tired. But once she knew that Zhao Ju was out of danger, she relaxed immediately.
Just then, Gu Yihan was overcome with drowsiness. She said to Shen Yujie perfunctorily, "My friend is in the hospital. I came to see her. It's too late, I have to go now."
Gu Yihan really didn't have the energy to explain much to him at the moment. After finishing her sentence, she got on her bicycle and prepared to go home to her family compound.
Shen Yujie quickly stepped forward to stop Gu Yihan, his tone filled with worry: "Sister-in-law, wait a moment, I'll take you home. It's so late, I'm worried about you."
Before Gu Yihan could refuse, she saw Shen Yujie turn around and run back.
A short while
Shen Yujie pushed a 28-inch bicycle and walked up to Gu Yihan, looking at her and saying, "Sister-in-law, let's go, I'll follow behind you."
It was too late, so Gu Yihan didn't say much. She got on her bicycle and headed towards the family compound. At first, the two rode one after the other.
Later, the two rode side by side. Along the way, Gu Yihan kept quiet and kept her mouth shut, thinking to herself, "How can this person be so love-struck?"
The two quickly arrived at the entrance of the courtyard. Shen Yujie watched Gu Yihan open the door and said, "Sister-in-law, I'll be going now."
Gu Yihan couldn't suppress her curiosity and asked Shen Yujie, "Do you know Qiao Shuhui?"
Shen Yujie paused as he turned his bicycle around. He smiled and said in a flat voice, "Sister-in-law, I know what kind of person Qiao Shuhui is."
“I know she is selfish and ruthless, and I also know she is a habitual liar and good at pretending and deceiving.”
"I also know that she is actually very insecure. Others may think that her behavior is extremely despicable and contemptible."
“But I knew that Qiao Shuhui was this kind of person when I met her, but I still fell in love with her. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with liking her.”

Gu Yihan pushed open the gate to the courtyard with a blank expression, parked her bicycle, and slammed the gate shut.
Gu Yihan shook her head vigorously, mentally complaining, "I need to stay away from Shen Yujie from now on; this stuff is contagious."
The next morning
Gu Yihan lay on the spacious bed, stretched her arms overhead, and yawned. She was still sleepy and didn't want to get up, but she had to go to work.
She glanced at her watch, quickly got out of bed, dressed, brushed her teeth, and washed her face for ten minutes.
At the last minute, Gu Yihan pushed open the door to the accounting office, walked to her workstation, and leaned on the desk to try and wake herself up.
Sister Min looked at Gu Yihan with amusement and said, "Xiaohan, were you exhausted last night? It seems that soldiers have good stamina."
Gu Yihan's face stiffened, and she rolled her eyes at Sister Min, saying, "What nonsense are you talking about?"
"Do you know?" Su Yonghong lowered his voice and suddenly spoke mysteriously.
Gu Yihan and Sister Min both looked at Su Yonghong at the same time.
Su Yonghong straightened his back, cleared his throat, and said, "Now I finally understand why Secretary Jiang, with such a good family background, isn't married yet?"
Gu Yihan looked at Su Yonghong and asked in confusion, "Sister Su, if someone doesn't want to get married, they can just not get married. Isn't that their freedom?"
Su Yonghong looked at Gu Yihan and said with a mysterious smile, "He likes gay men, not lesbians."
Fearing that Gu Yihan might not understand, she said directly, "If this were in ancient times, this would be considered homosexuality."

Sister Min looked at Su Yonghong with some skepticism and said, "That could also be Secretary Jiang, who just doesn't like female comrades who are too proactive."

Secretary Jiang pushed open the office door with a grim expression, her eyes sweeping coldly over Gu Yihan and the other two people inside.
He said coldly, "Why are you not saying anything now? How come I didn't know I was gay? Why are you squatting against my wall in the middle of the night?"
Gu Yihan: "..."
Su Yonghong and Sister Min blushed instantly; neither of them expected Secretary Jiang to come to the accountant's office.
Secretary Jiang shifted her gaze to Gu Yihan and said, "Comrade Gu, Director Yang is looking for you."
He turned and walked out of the office.
Su Yonghong and Sister Min had just carefully let out a breath.
Secretary Jiang's cold voice came from outside the door again: "I don't want to hear any more rumors about me."
The three people inside the room, including Gu Yihan, looked at each other and nodded repeatedly, regardless of whether Secretary Jiang could see them or not.
