Chapter 51 Criticism
Gu Yihan walked into the office and went straight to her desk to do her own thing.
Ma Chao from the Human Resources Department pushed open the door and entered with a smile, saying, "Sister Zhuang, I've brought more people to your accounting department."
Sister Zhuang smiled and said to Ma Chao, "Thank you for your hard work, Xiao Ma. Our accounting department is indeed short-staffed."
"Our department mainly needs people with strong professional skills who can get started immediately."
Ma Chao from the Human Resources Department said to the door, "Come in quickly."

Gu Yihan stood up and said to Liu Yang and Zhou Tingmei, "You can just call me Xiaohan from now on."
Sister Li also introduced herself, saying, "Call me Sister Li."
Sister Zhang glanced at them twice: "Call me Sister Zhang."
After Zhou Tingmei and Liu Yang called out to each person in turn.
Liu Yang walked to Wang Xiang's old desk and sat down.
Gu Yihan saw Zhou Tingmei walking towards her and taking her arm in a seemingly intimate manner: "Xiaohan, we've been classmates for three years."
"You're still my roommate, but you don't treat me like a friend at all. You're actually working in a machine factory now."

Sister Li watched as Gu Yihan and Zhou Tingmei chatted back and forth.
He interrupted, asking, "Are you two very close?"
Zhou Tingmei's smile froze for a moment, then she smiled again and said, "Isn't this fate? I never thought we'd be working together."
Gu Yihan looked Zhou Tingmei up and down: "It's been over a year since I last saw you. Your tea skills have improved quite a bit!"
Zhou Tingmei looked at Gu Yihan in confusion: "Huh?"
Gu Yihan smiled but didn't say anything.
After getting off work, Gu Yihan walked to the entrance of the machinery factory and saw Mao Mao waiting for her there, which instantly cheered her up.
Mao Mao happily walked over to Gu Yihan and circled around her, rubbing its head against her calf.
The gatekeeper looked at Mao Mao's obsequious manner and laughed, saying:
“Xiao Han, Mao Mao is such an ingrate. I spend every day with it, but it has never welcomed me like this before.”
"It's always waiting for you at the door right when it's almost time to leave work, like there's a timer installed above your head."
Gu Yihan patted Mao Mao's head and joked:
"Look at what the old man said, it's a master of balance, it keeps you company while you're at work during the day, and keeps me company when it comes home at night."
The old man chuckled as he looked at Mao Mao: "Xiao Han, listen to me. In the factory, talk less and be careful. These days, people are treated worse than dogs."
Gu Yihan looked at the old man seriously and said, "Thank you, sir. I will."
She led Mao Mao on the way back. Mao Mao barked at the other side of the road, and Gu Yihan reached out to soothe Mao Mao: "Don't bark."
The moment she withdrew her hand, Mao Mao sprinted across the street.
Gu Yihan chased after him, calling out, "Mao Mao!"
When I go home this time, I must find a rope to tie Mao Mao up so it can run around freely.
Pushing through the crowd, they saw Mao Mao baring his teeth at a young Red Army soldier from the Revolutionary Committee.
She rushed over and said to the other person, "I'm sorry."
The other party didn't seem to care; the dog only barked and didn't hurt anyone.
Gu Yihan grabbed Mao Mao's ear and said, "Aren't you going home? I'll tie you up when we get back."
Seeing that Mao Mao was not moving and was staring straight ahead, Gu Yihan looked up and was so frightened that she froze.
Gu Yihan looked at Mao Mao uncertainly: "Mao Mao, you recognized that was Zhou Na?"
Mao Mao obediently nodded its head.

The young Red Army soldier beside her was pulling on the rope that was binding Zhou Na's hand.

Gu Yihan watched Zhou Na walk aimlessly, as if she were just an empty shell, without a soul.
Gu Yihan held Mao Mao tightly with one hand and covered her mouth with the other.
Zhou Na walked past her barefoot, her soles worn raw, leaving a bloody mark with every step, as if she felt no pain.
As Gu Yihan watched this insane scene, she never truly felt at this moment that in this special era, one wrong step could lead to utter destruction.
"Xiao Han, what are you doing here?"
Gu Yihan heard someone call her name and turned around to find it was Li Yajing.
Li Yaqing pulled her out of the crowd and whispered, "How dare you stand by and watch such a commotion?"
Gu Yihan replied softly, "I didn't do anything."
Li Yaqing looked at Gu Yihan with disappointment and said, "It's because you didn't do anything that you're considered an oddball. People will think you're sympathizing with the female comrades who are being criticized."
Gu Yihan looked at Li Yajing and opened her mouth, but couldn't say anything to refute her.
Li Yaqing didn't dwell on the matter and changed the subject: "Our department store has some defective fabric this weekend, do you want some?"
Gu Yihan's attention was diverted by the flawed cloth: "I want it, the cloth ration coupons we get every year aren't enough."
Li Yaqing let out a soft breath. She was genuinely worried that Gu Yihan was stubborn. She had just seen Gu Yihan's expression from a distance and knew that she knew that woman.
Li Yaqing smiled and said to Gu Yihan, "Come to the department store to find me this weekend, I'll save it for you, and bring Mao Mao along too."
Li Yaqing bent down and ruffled Mao Mao's hair: "It's been so long since I've seen Mao Mao. Did you miss me? Can you come home with me?"
Mao Mao is so annoyed by this woman. Every time she sees it, she rubs its fur hard, making it look ugly. It avoids Li Yaqing's outstretched hand and runs far away to stand.
Gu Yihan and Li Yajing chuckled when they saw Mao Mao's actions.
