Chapter 66 Old Lady Zhou Gets a Beating

"Bang, bang, bang"
Old Mrs. Zhou and her family arrived home very late, exhausted and hungry. They ate something quickly and had just fallen asleep when there was a knock at the door.
Seeing no movement from her son's room, Old Mrs. Zhou got up impatiently and shouted angrily at the door, "Who is it? Are you trying to seduce someone?"
When he opened the door, he saw Grandma Gu and her two daughters-in-law. Before he could even start cursing, Grandma Gu pinned him to the ground.

She never expected that her son, Jianguo, wouldn't even come out to check on her when he heard she was being beaten.
Grandma Gu felt extremely relieved when she saw the look of utter misery on Old Mrs. Zhou's face.
"Eldest daughter-in-law, second daughter-in-law, let's go." Grandma Gu called to her two daughters-in-law as they left the courtyard.
In the blink of an eye, three days have passed.
Gu Yihan walked into the accounting office listlessly, plopped down on her workstation, slumped over the desk, and felt a throbbing in her head.
Sister Li noticed Gu Yihan slumped over the table and walked over to her, asking in a low voice, "Are you feeling unwell?"
Gu Yihan raised her eyelids and looked at Sister Li with a lifeless expression, saying, "It's nothing, she probably just caught a cold."
