Bonus Chapter: A Spontaneous Trip (Part 3)

"You're asking for a beating if you tell your elderly parents you're old."

Bao Ni's mother slapped her own daughter; it was infuriating.

"Haha... My mother isn't old yet, she's still so energetic."

Bonnie jumped up and ran away, her laughter echoing in the yard. Bonnie's parents laughed, and so did Brother Lin, who remembered how Bonnie had been just as mischievous when they were little. Her parents wanted to spank her, so they raised their hands high and gently brought them down.

Bonnie went to sleep, and Brother Lin told his parents to rest for a while too. They made sure to go to the dock early to wait for Bonnie.

"Okay, we got it. This is just a short rest. You two go and buy the meat, vegetables, and seafood we'll need for tonight. Buy plenty of seafood, Bonnie loves it."

"Okay, let's go now."

Brother Lin and his wife rode their tricycle out. They'll stop by Uncle San and Uncle Xiao's house later to let them know that they're all coming over for dinner tonight.

Otherwise, Gu Ye wouldn’t have been able to retire so easily.”

Although Brother Lin wasn't in the military, there were troops stationed on the island, and he had heard all the gossip about these things.

"That's right. Liu Jiu is in the Air Force now, with a high rank, and she also has connections with her in-laws. There's no mistake. San Qi is also doing well in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so her parents don't have to worry about her at all."

Lin Hui was also envious. Although his own child was good, he couldn't compare to Liu Jiu San Qi and his group. However, everyone has their own way of living, and it's more important to be open-minded.

After discussing dinner arrangements, Brother Lin left to make some preparations.
