Chapter 224 All actions must be carried out under orders

Bonnie and Aunt Yang finalized the arrangements and then came to the door together. The sisters-in-law were very helpful and agreed to help.

When it comes to asking questions, you can't miss Aunt Zhang next door and Aunt Zhou in the front row. They're the know-it-alls of the family compound, and they're always right when it comes to getting information.

As for the rest, we will make a final arrangement after receiving news from all parties.

With Bonnie's strategic analysis, Aunt Yang's long face disappeared, and she was confident that she could rescue her daughter from the wolf's den.

After Gu Ye returned, Bao Ni reviewed her battle plan with him and asked Commander Gu to help her fill in any gaps, since he was a professional.

After listening to Bao Ni's analysis, Gu Ye really felt that his wife was amazing. This girl was even going to fight her way to the other side of the island.

Gu Ye understood Commander Yang's concerns. He couldn't intervene; otherwise, people would accuse him of abusing his power. The atmosphere outside the island was much worse than on the island; people were still raiding homes and criticizing others from time to time.

Hopefully, their girl group will achieve a victory in their first battle, contributing to the stability of the army's rear. They also offered some helpful suggestions, which, although somewhat underhanded, were effective, making Bonnie look at Gu Ye in a new light.

After the investigation results and the information that Zhang Saozi and the others had gathered came back, Bao Ni and the others held a short meeting.

"Aunt Yang, ladies, let's discuss our travel plans for tomorrow."

The investigation revealed that Wei Jun, the man of Xiang Hong, the daughter of Aunt Yang, not only committed marriage fraud and swindled money, but also attempted to cheat her out of a job. He not only had a mistress but also a child with her; this is a matter of moral character.

Tomorrow, we'll split into two groups. Aunt Yang, Sister Huang, and I will go to Wei Jun's house. Sister Zhang and Sister Zhou will go to the place Wei Jun has already arranged. She doesn't work and stays home to take care of the children; it's just her and the children at home. You two can go and trick her into going to Wei Jun's house.

"Sister Duan, go to the Revolutionary Committee and lure the people there. Let's take a three-pronged approach and get rid of that cake seller. Aunt Yang, ladies, do you have anything to add?"

Bonnie thought to herself, "Three cobblers are as good as one Zhuge Liang, and there are several of them, so they're as good as two Zhuge Liangs."

Sister Zhang suggested, "When we go to see that girl, we have to be natural, so she really thinks we're Wei Jun's neighbors. What's Wei Jun's mother's name?"

Bonnie glanced at the information: "Ding Daya, also known as Granny Ding."

"We've got it." Aunt Zhang and Aunt Zhou memorized the name.

Having finished explaining the situation, Aunt Yang thanked Bao Ni and the others again, saying, "Thank you so much."

After Aunt Yang returned home, she told Commander Yang about their plan. Commander Yang thought it was a good plan and there were no problems.

"We can't let Xiang Hong get away with this time. She's already suffered a terrible fall!"

Commander Yang was filled with regret, but there was nothing he could do but try his best to make amends.

After a good night's sleep, Bonnie got up and woke up Liu Jiu and San Qi.

"Mom, where are you going so early?" Liu Jiu rubbed her eyes, her hair a mess like a bird's nest.

“I know, Mom went to fight.” Sanqi overheard his mother talking to Grandma Yang that day, but he didn’t quite understand. However, he knew that she was going to fight.

"You're not allowed to listen to adults anymore." Bonnie slapped Sanqi's bottom. Why does this kid love listening to people chat so much?

After sending Liu Jiu and San Qi to their parents' home, Bao Ni went to the dock to meet up with the rest of the group.

"Sister-in-law Duan, Sister-in-law Zhang, Sister-in-law Zhou, the places you're going to aren't far from Wei Jun's house, about a ten-minute walk. Please estimate the time carefully, and we'll also try to control the duration of our argument. It would be best if we could all arrive together at the crucial moment." After getting off the boat, Bao Ni gave her final instructions, as timing was not easy to control.

“Baoni, you weren’t really engaged in the argument. You were too observant and attentive. When we get back, we’ll imitate a bird’s call to give you a hint,” Aunt Zhou suggested.

"Okay, let's do it this way. We'll play it by ear and hope everything goes smoothly!"

The group split up and acted as if they were carrying out some kind of underground activity.

When they arrived at Wei Jun's courtyard, they found that the houses were allocated by Wei Jun's father's work unit. This area was full of the factory workers' families, living side by side. Wei Jun's family had three main rooms, and Wei Jun and his family lived in one of them, which wasn't very big.

"Who are you? What are you doing barging into our house?" An old woman with slanted eyes saw Bonnie and the others come in and quickly came over to stop them.

"Who do you think I am? I'm Yang Xianghong's mother." Aunt Yang walked in from behind, with Bao Ni and Sister Huang standing on either side of her.

"Oh dear, our in-laws are here! I didn't see them, I'm so sorry. Is this your relative?" This wife's face changed quickly. Bao Ni and Sister-in-law Huang exchanged a glance, knowing they had to be careful.

"Yes, my niece-in-law from my maternal family came to see Xiang Hong. Where is she?"

"It's not that it's hot, it's just that she has a bit of heatstroke and is lying in the house. Xiang Hong, your mother is here." The old woman called out towards the house.

Footsteps echoed from inside the house, and Yang Xianghong came out.

"Mom, you're here." Bao Ni looked at Yang Xiang Hong, whose face was ashen. She was a perfectly fine person, but she had developed a love-struck brain and ruined a good hand.

"Girl, what happened to you? You look so haggard. Have you not eaten enough? You're a full-time worker, earning several tens of dollars a month. How could you let yourself get like this? It breaks our hearts to see you like this!" Sister Huang spoke steadily, attracting everyone's attention.

“Father-in-law, we are truly devoted to Xiang Hong. As you know, she has a weaker constitution. She has been married for several years but still doesn’t have a child. We don’t blame her at all and tell her not to worry, that she will have one sooner or later.”

Granny Ding pretended to wipe away non-existent tears from the corners of her eyes, looking weak and vulnerable as if she had suffered a great injustice.
