When Gu Ze returned home that evening, he saw his two sons, who were tanned dark. Xuan Yi, in particular, looked much more energetic and no longer had that lazy, listless appearance. He had done a good job exercising on the island.
"You've been gone for so long, what are your thoughts?" Gu Ze looked at his two sons, not wanting the trip to be in vain, especially Gu Xuanyu, who was already thirteen years old and needed to learn to think about many things.
"I was deeply moved. The conditions on the island were very harsh, especially for the soldiers stationed there. My uncle took us to a small island that was very desolate, with few people, not much fresh water, and no vegetables at all. They all needed to be delivered by supply ships."

"Liu Jiu is amazing. She's not only good at fighting, but also at doing things. She can do a lot and knows a lot. She's used to typhoons. She knows what to do before a typhoon comes and what to do after it passes."
Liu Jiu and San Qi are very self-reliant and do things very well on their own. I feel quite ashamed; I can't compare to Liu Jiu, and I'm not even as good as San Qi. I need to exercise more in the future; Liu Jiu said she'll check on me next time we meet.”
Gu Xuanyi didn't have the same comprehensive view as his brother. His entire life revolved around Liu Jiu, and he drew a lot of inspiration from Liu Jiu and San Qi.
"Okay, you all did a good job and didn't waste your time. In the future, when you do things, remember your shortcomings, but also recognize your strengths."
"Okay, Dad."
The two brothers were very happy, and their father praised them.
