"Hongxia, Liu Jiu got into a fight, didn't she?"
"Yeah, we beat up those two boys."
Hongxia didn't know exactly what happened, but the teacher called on her to go find Gu Yunchu's parents.
"Thank you, Hongxia, let's go." Bonnie was quite familiar with this matter and even had a handful of candy in her pocket.
"Hello teacher, I am Gu Yunchu's mother."
Bonnie entered the teacher's office. Liu Jiu and two boys around ten years old were standing to the side. Both boys had bruises on their faces, but they weren't broken; they were just bruised.
“Gu Yun Chu’s mother, these two boys are fourth-grade classmates. Gu Yun Chu got into a fight with them, and both of their faces are bruised. Since you both live in the military family compound, I had no choice but to call you here.”
As soon as the teacher finished speaking, two more women came in.
"Teacher, what happened? My child got into a fight?"
The two women were well aware of their children's nature; fighting had become a regular occurrence.
"Hello parents, here's what happened. Gu Yun Chu's younger brother is in preschool and got into a fight with a classmate. Both sides called on their older siblings, and as a result, the two older brothers got hurt." The teacher was also helpless; Gu Yun Chu had taken on two boys who were older than her and beat them up.
"Oh my god, you two silly kids, fighting again, and losing to a little girl, what a bunch of good-for-nothings, you deserved to get beaten up." This sounded like someone from Chongqing, and Bonnie quite liked the tone of the voice.
"Big sister, my daughter was wrong too. When classmates spar, they should stop when they've had their fill. I'm so sorry, look at her face..." Bonnie apologized first, because hitting someone is wrong no matter what.
"Girl, it's alright. They're just kids, they all get into fights sometimes. It's embarrassing to get hit by a girl." The woman from Shancheng spoke quickly and frankly, which was quite amusing.
The other woman was not good with words, but she was not unhappy and remained calm.
Bonnie gave the two boys a few pieces of candy to sweeten their mouths. This was the most willing Bonnie had ever given candy; after all, the children's parents were reasonable and understanding.
The three mothers walked out of the school gate together, got to know each other, and agreed to keep in touch.
