Gu Ye nodded. "Is my room still available?" He just wanted Bonnie to lie down for a while.
"It's on the second floor. Secretary Gu gave the instructions, and it's already been tidied up." Hearing Gu Ye's icy voice, the older woman felt a chill.
"Um."
Gu Ye carried things in both hands, and Bao Ni also carried things in her hands, and they carried them up to the second floor.
"Come in." Gu Ye found his previous room and opened the door to let Bonnie in.
The room was very clean, no different from when I left. The sheets on the bed had been changed, so they must be new.
"Lie down for a while, we'll talk about it tonight."
"I want to take a shower first, I don't feel well." After getting off the bus for so long, Bonnie felt better.
“Okay, you stay here for a bit, I’ll go ask if the bathhouse is open at this hour.” Gu Ye said, and then strode downstairs.
A little while later, he came up again.
"Let's go, the bathhouse in the compound is open, let's both go take a shower." He also felt uncomfortable, with an indescribable smell.
The two packed some clothes and toiletries and went downstairs.
The older woman was probably a little afraid of Gu Ye, so she didn't come out.
Bonnie had never seen a public bathhouse in the north before and was a little uncomfortable.
Fortunately, there weren't many people around, so Bonnie could feel a bit more at ease. The shower was really comfortable; it was warm and cozy, and all her pores seemed to open up.
When Bonnie came out again, she was full of energy and had come back to life!
Gu Ye felt much better when he saw Bonnie walk out full of energy. It was really good.
The two returned to the Gu family's small building, where the older woman said the food was ready and told them to eat while it was hot.
After putting their things away and having a hot meal, the two thanked the older sister and went upstairs to rest.
