When Gu Xuanyu and his group arrived at the ice rink, there were already many people there.
This is a large ice rink; which organization does it belong to?
The unit charges one cent per ticket and also rents out ice skates.
They have their own skates; they only need to buy tickets.
"Liu Jiu, San Qi, you two stay with us for a while and don't get separated. This place is big and there are a lot of people."
Gu Xuanyu is a peace enthusiast and dislikes fighting. Although he's not afraid of trouble, nobody likes accidents to happen when they're out having fun.
"Okay, brother, I'll go change my shoes."
Liu Jiu and San Qi went to change their shoes together. She is good at swimming and diving, but this is her first time ice skating.
Gu Xuanyi came over and helped her change her ice skates and tighten the laces.
Aren't you going to play?
Liu Jiu looked at Gu Xuanyi, who had no intention of changing his shoes. "I don't want to skate, it's too tiring. I'll just stay here and watch the shoes. It's too cold, and you guys won't be able to skate for very long anyway."
Gu Xuanyi can ice skate, but there are many people today, and someone is teaching him, so he won't be skating.
Gu Xuanyu came over and brought the shoes over. It's good to have someone watching over them.
Liu Jiu has a good sense of balance. Gu Xuanyu explained the key points and the essentials of foot movements, which Liu Jiu quickly grasped.
"Liu Jiu's athletic ability is really developed. He grasped the essentials in no time. Although he fell twice, he's gliding quite well. He'll be able to glide freely in a little while."
Zheng Tao stopped beside Gu Xuanyu, genuinely envious. How could someone's sister be so capable, excelling in both academics and martial arts?
"Liu Jiu is impressive; he has a strong comprehension ability and excellent control over his body."
Gu Xuanyu was very proud. Look at his sister, she can already skate in big circles.
Liu Jiu had a great time, but things weren't so smooth for San Qi.
"Sanqi, stay calm. Don't be afraid of falling. To learn to ice skate, you have to learn to fall first."
Zheng Jun, having been through similar experiences, comforted Sanqi.
Sanqi looked up at her sister who was skating very smoothly, "That's you. Look at my sister, she's already skating very well."
Zheng Jun looked in the direction Sanqi was pointing and saw Liujiu, wearing a red cotton-padded jacket, moving freely like an ice skater.
"Your sister is no ordinary person; you can't make conventional comparisons."
Zheng Jun has given up. He no longer seeks out Liu Jiu for sparring; his confidence has been shattered.
Sanqi tried to skate forward again, very carefully, but still couldn't escape the fate of falling down.
"Squeak!"
Liu Jiu slammed on the brakes and stopped right in front of San Qi and the other two.
"Gu Yun Chu, you're so cool! You even know how to brake suddenly!"
Zheng Jun looked at Liu Jiu, whose face was red from the cold, her eyes shining brightly. It was clear that she loved ice skating.
"It's alright, it feels great to glide on."
Liu Jiu thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of ice skating. The wind blew in her face, stinging a little, but it proved that she was alive.
"Sanqi, don't be so cautious. Only by skating can you experience the joy of skating and learn how to skate."
Sanqi looked at Liujiu with some doubt. He had fallen five or six times and hadn't felt any fun in skating, but his butt hurt a lot.
Suddenly, Liu Jiu grabbed San Qi's hand, got into position, and started skating with him.
Sanqi was initially startled, but he quickly regained his composure and trusted his sister.
Liu Jiu's speed increased, and San Qi, following Zheng Jun's instructions, began to control his feet. Gradually, he found his rhythm and was able to keep up with his sister's speed, which made him feel much more relaxed.
On the second lap, Liu Jiu's speed increased again, and San Qi was able to maintain his balance and experience the joy his sister had mentioned.
After three laps, Sanqi was able to glide on his own. Although the speed was average, at least he wouldn't fall down easily anymore and could glide on the large laps.
"See that little girl in the red cotton-padded jacket? She's pretty impressive."
"Hmm, not bad speed."
The group of people who were talking had been watching Liu Jiu for a long time; this girl was quite impressive.
"Sixty-nine, that's good. That's enough for today. It's your first time, so don't go too long."
Gu Xuanyu looked at Liu Jiu's rosy cheeks and felt incredibly proud. His sister was truly extraordinary.
Liu Jiu also felt that it was about time, so he called San Qi over to change his shoes.
Gu Xuanyi was shivering from the cold; it was really cold standing here in temperatures below minus twenty degrees Celsius.
"If you don't come back soon, I'll freeze into an icicle."
"Okay, let's change our clothes quickly and go eat hot pot."
Gu Xuanyu was also cold, so he didn't skate much and watched Liu Jiu and San Qi from the side.
Since it was his first time ice skating, he was worried about something going wrong.
Liu Jiu has changed her shoes, but why hasn't San Qi arrived yet?
She looked towards the ice rink; where had Sanqi gone?
"Brother, where's Sanqi? She's nowhere to be found."
"What? Sanqi is missing?"
Gu Xuanyu was startled. He had just seen Sanqi, how could she have disappeared in just two minutes?
Gu Xuanyu stood up. He was tall and looked towards the ice rink. There was a long line of skaters, forming a large circle. Sanqi was stuck in the middle of the circle and couldn't get out.
"Those bastards."
Gu Xuanyu ran over, and Liu Jiu followed without thinking.
A group of teenagers, boys and girls, were laughing and joking as they glided in circles. The distance between each person was about the same, and their speed was also about the same. Those inside the circle couldn't find a chance to get out.
When Liu Jiu ran up to them, he saw Sanqi and two other girls in the circle, and he was already terrified.
It seems these people came for the two girls; Sanqi was probably an accident.
"Stop! My brother can't get out!" Gu Xuanyu shouted.
"Haha...we haven't had enough fun yet. Let him stay inside quietly, otherwise, if he gets hurt, we won't be responsible."
