Lin Tao was startled when he received a call from his older brother yesterday. It was so sudden that he left work early today to come and confirm with Bao Ni.
"No need, my parents are staying with me."
“Your place is bigger than mine, but there are more people in your place, so it’s not very spacious.”
Lin Tao knew that housing conditions in Beijing were like this, and it couldn't compare to his family's thatched-roof house; it was too cramped.
“It’s alright. We don’t need to stay in the compound. I’ll have my parents move to a traditional courtyard house. It’s spacious there and has a vegetable garden, so it’s convenient for them to go for walks.”
"What courtyard house? Your family even owns a courtyard house?"
Having worked and lived in Beijing for so many years, Lin Tao certainly knows what a courtyard house is.
"It was left to him by Gu Ye's mother. We cleaned it up after we came back this time."
Bonnie hadn't mentioned it to her second brother, so his surprise was understandable.
"Ah! That's fine too. We won't have to climb the stairs anymore. Grandpa and Grandma will like it even more. I'll go with you to pick them up from the station the day after tomorrow."

Bonnie didn't care; her second brother went to pick up his parents, and she didn't stop him.
