Chapter 412 Clues

The Yang family, with Commander Yang as the head of the family.

After Commander Yang left, Comrade Wu stopped crying. Who was he crying for?

The second son of the Yang family was still shaken and didn't know what to say, because he had also played a part in the girl's death.

After his elder brother passed away, he wondered if he would also suffer retribution and follow in his brother's footsteps, leaving him feeling anxious and uncertain.

Yang's wife watched all this with a cold eye; it was truly absurd. She wondered if her mother-in-law had something to hide; whenever she heard about Cao Wenze, she had to stage this whole thing.

She rarely mentions her eldest son. If he's gone, doesn't she still have her second son and youngest daughter?

She quietly went upstairs to check on her two children. She couldn't let the adults instill bad ideas in them. In the second half of her life, she would raise her children well and not let them turn out badly, like their aunt.

"Mom, is there any way to deal with Cao Wenze? Can't we trip him up a bit?"

The youngest daughter of the Yang family failed her college entrance exams and didn't get into any program. She doesn't want to work and has been staying home idly for some time now.

"Don't give me any bad advice, don't do anything reckless. The patient he's treating this time isn't an ordinary person."

Yang's second son quickly stopped her, knowing that his younger sister had recently been associating with some hooligans in the compound and was behaving lawlessly.

"Listen to your second brother, don't cause trouble, otherwise, even your father can't save you."

Comrade Wu also knew some inside information; otherwise, would she have been helpless and cried along with Lao Yang?

The youngest sister of the Yang family pouted; she didn't have time to bother with such trivial matters. She had time to practice dancing; ballroom dancing was very popular now, but she wasn't proficient at it yet.

Before long, everyone in the living room had left, and Commander Yang had not returned yet; no one knew what he had gone to do.

Children don't understand adult matters; they have their own things to do.

"Liu Jiu, how do you think she did that? We've been observing so carefully, and we haven't seen anyone go to my seat. But how did this letter end up on my desk?"

Gu Xuanyi was so annoyed that he had no feelings of excitement left.

When I saw the first letter, I thought to myself, "Wow, I'm quite charming. Someone secretly likes me." My heart even raced a little, and my hands trembled slightly as I opened the letter.

However, it has been more than a month, and he has received five or six letters, but he still doesn't know who wrote them or whether they are men or women.

I felt like I was being watched, which made me uneasy. When I saw the pink envelope, my heart raced and my hands trembled. I was angry.

"Calm down, let's analyze this. Apart from the first three letters which were in your bag, the rest were on the table."

The other party may have realized that we were watching her, so they changed their approach.

Think about it, when did the later letters appear? Were they simply placed on the table, or somewhere else?

Liu Jiu thought this guy was interesting; he even knew a bit about counter-surveillance!

"Let me think, I went out after class, and when I came back, I had to go to class. There were homework books on my desk, and I wanted to put them away. The letter was under the homework books."

Gu Xuanyi thought about it carefully, and realized that the later ones were all under the homework book.

"What kind of homework? Chinese, math, English, or just any homework book?"

Liu Jiu felt like she was about to grasp something, and an idea flashed through her mind.

"What homework?" Gu Xuanyi was caught off guard by the question; he hadn't paid attention.

"I can't remember, it was probably a Chinese homework assignment, in my composition book, but I really can't recall. I was both anxious and angry at the time."

Liu Jiu seemed to be deep in thought. She took out her notebook and tried to recall the class representatives for each subject, ignoring the homework for now.

Define the scope.

“Let’s write down who the class representatives are for each subject. They’re definitely related to these people. When we hand out homework, we’ll slip the letter under the homework notebooks. Nobody will notice.”

Gu Xuanyi thought it made sense and quickly thought of the class representatives for each subject, as he was more familiar with them than Liu Jiu.

The math class representative is Zhang Hongtao, a boy; the foreign language class representative is Qi Yunyun, a girl; the Chinese class representative is Liang Xiaocao, a girl; and the politics class representative is Yang Qi, also a girl…

The rest are all boys.

Liu Jiu is focusing on several girls, as this matter is more likely to involve girls.

The handwriting looked like a girl's, and the content of the letter also leaned towards a girl's perspective. It was full of praise for Gu Xuanyi, and the author was very observant, noting details such as what clothes looked good on him and how his hairstyle had changed.

Liu Jiu wasn't familiar with any of the girls; she preferred to be alone.

"Tomorrow, find a way to get their handwriting samples, without giving anything away. If you find any more envelopes, make sure they're under which notebook they were."

Liu Jiu assigned Gu Xuanyi a task, but she didn't have a suitable candidate: to collect handwriting samples.

"Okay, I understand. I'll think about it and see who's suitable to do it."

Gu Xuanyi was also thinking about how to get those people's handwriting without anyone noticing.

"Don't worry, if all else fails, we'll tell the teacher or talk to my parents. There's always a way."

The reason why Liu Jiu and the others didn't tell the adults was that they felt it hadn't caused them too much of a problem, and they thought they could try to solve it themselves.

"Okay, I'm not in a hurry now. On the contrary, I find it interesting, like solving a riddle."

Liu Jiu felt the same way, which was the main reason she didn't tell the adults.

"Do you two have some kind of secret?"

Sanqi pushed the door open and came in. He felt that the two of them were hiding something from him.
