"Mom, do you know what people outside are saying?"
Sanqi had just gone out for a stroll and overheard quite a bit of gossip. He and Xuanyi listened for a long time and heard several different versions of the story.
“I don’t know either. Some people in the market are saying it, but it’s all hearsay. Nobody really knows what happened or who started the rumor.”
Bonnie felt that there must be several versions of the story that were close to the truth, but she didn't know which one was.
"Mom, if you find out, please let us know. We're quite curious too."
Sanqi had vaguely heard Liang Qi and the others mention it before, so she was quite curious.
"Okay, I'll tell you if I can, otherwise don't bother asking around."

Sanqi agreed; he knew the importance of the matter.
Bonnie and Sister Xiang sorted through the New Year's goods they had bought; there were so many, they couldn't all be piled up here.
She had just finished tidying up and hadn't even caught her breath when Sister-in-law Wei Hong arrived. Bao Ni excitedly ran over and pulled her into the study. She knew that her curiosity would be satisfied.
"Bonnie, why are you so agitated? Anyone who didn't know better would think you miss me terribly."
"Sister-in-law, stop keeping me in suspense and tell me what happened. This morning, there's been so much talk about it, so many versions, I really don't know which one is true and which one is false."
Bonnie knew that Sister-in-law Wei Hong had come to see her, so she must know the real version; she had that ability.
"You really know me well, you even know why I came to see you. Has your curiosity been piqued? This matter is not simple, many people have been implicated."
"Alright, go get some snacks and make yourself a cup of tea, then we can talk slowly."
Zhou Weihong thought about what she knew and sighed, "If you don't do stupid things, you won't die!"
When Bonnie heard that this was something important, she quickly went to prepare tea and snacks, because listening to gossip is always good with some snacks.
