When did this happen?
"Just yesterday, didn't they go to the military base to resolve the issue? Apparently, the woman produced a lot of photos, all of Yang Xue and her man, some of which were quite revealing, supposedly bed photos. Commander Yang immediately collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency treatment for several hours. When he woke up this morning, half of his body was paralyzed."
Wei Hong's sister-in-law heard what her father-in-law and mother-in-law were saying, and that was roughly the gist of it; she didn't listen to much more.
Is there any cure?
"It's said that his chances are slim, and it would be good if he could be saved. Commander Yang was supposed to retire in two more years, but now he has no choice but to retire."
Sister-in-law Wei Hong also remarked that there is a big difference between being in office and not being in office.
"There's nothing we can do about it. He sowed the seeds and reaped the harvest. I wonder if he regrets it? I hope they can have some self-respect and stop begging Brother Wenze. It's too disgusting."
Bonnie felt disgusted when she recalled how they had tried to get Wenze to save Yang's eldest son. This time, however, the situation was different; Commander Yang was, after all, Wenze's father.

Sister-in-law Wei Hong also sighed, saying that this whole thing was a mess, and it didn't sound good at all. Commander Yang was, after all, an old revolutionary who had shed blood and been wounded, and was about to retire, yet his daughter had betrayed him, ruining his reputation.
The two sighed for a while, saying that it was not appropriate for others to comment on the matter, but it depended on whether the person involved could hold on, otherwise, the rumors and gossip would be too much to bear.
After Sister-in-law Wei Hong left, Bao Ni wanted to tell Staff Officer Deng so they could be mentally prepared. However, she couldn't find her; they only said she was on a mission and couldn't be contacted.
