After hearing her son's words, the old lady spat fiercely on the ground, dusted herself off her pants, and walked away without looking back.
"Alright, everyone, go home now. Stay home and do your chores and take care of the kids. Don't gossip. The men are working hard outside, we need to protect the home front!"
Sister Zhang's words were so forceful that many of the military families present blushed and silently turned to go home.
