Chapter 7 Lin Baoni and Gu Ye's First Meeting

"As long as I can join the army, that's fine. My second brother's wish is to join the army. Thank you!" Bonnie thought her second brother was lucky. The army in Kyoto has a promising future.

Although she resisted joining the army since childhood, Jiang Jiaojiao had grown up in a military compound and was aware of some things.

"Let's get down to business now. Have you thought about marriage?" Gu Ye felt that his business was not the same as hers.

"Ah, right, marriage, I've thought it through." Bonnie realized that she had come to talk about marriage.

Turns out I've got the focus wrong. No wonder the person on the other end seemed even colder.

This person's face was naturally dark; otherwise, you could clearly see that their face was dark.

Looking at that smiling face, Gu Ye felt he couldn't get angry. Oh my god, he didn't hate this feeling of being out of control.

"Commander Gu, after we get married, I'll be accompanying my unit, right?" Bonnie remembered that officers of battalion rank and above could accompany their units.

“Yes, I can apply for family housing,” Gu Ye replied unconsciously.

"Then I can go back to my parents' home anytime, right? There are no restrictions, are there?" Lin Baoni can't do anything and can't live without her mother and grandmother.

"Sure, you can wait to be assigned a job." Married and still thinking about going back to her parents' home? Has she not weaned herself yet? Gu Ye thought to himself.

"Really? That's great. You don't need to work anymore; your salary should be enough. I still have to go fishing with my dad and the others." Things seem pretty good so far; this marriage is a good idea.

"You go out to sea to fish?" Gu Ye couldn't help but raise his voice, utterly astonished.

Lin Baoni was a little confused. "How can I save you if we don't go out to sea to fish?" She seemed a little dim-witted.

Gu Ye understood Lin Baoni's expression; she probably thought he was being silly.

Ever since she came in, I've felt strange, like I'm being controlled by something.

"Pah, pah..." I'm an atheist.

Looking at Lin Baoni staring at him with wide eyes, he realized he was doomed; in her eyes, he really looked like a fool.

What's going on? This is so strange! It doesn't match what Political Commissar Xiao described! Should we still go through with the marriage? What if we give birth to a mentally challenged child?

Bonnie is actually a rather eccentric person, but Lao Jiang has managed to train her to be more reserved.

Gu Ye understood what she meant again, and his head ached terribly!

The two suddenly fell into deep thought, and the room became quiet.
