Chapter 91 Gu Ye goes to see Han Weidong

"Handsome uncle, my dad is here to see you."

Han Weidong had just gotten up, intending to go for a few laps, when he heard Liu Jiu's voice.

"Hello, I am Han Weidong."

He pushed open the door and came out, looking at the man holding the child.

"Gu Ye".

"I've heard of it, it's very impressive."

Han Weidong didn't know why Gu Ye had come to find him; the two of them had no connection whatsoever!

"Handsome uncle, are you saying my dad is amazing again? My dad is amazing."

Liu Jiu liked looking at this beautiful face. She touched her own face, which was a bit dark.

“Your older brother and my brother are classmates, so they asked them to take care of you. You can come to me if you need anything. Just do your job well in the team. My father-in-law and his family don’t discriminate based on personal relationships. If you do a good job, they won’t treat you differently.”

"Okay, thank you."

"Dad, come home and cook dinner. Mom's about to wake up."

Liu Jiu rescued her father, breaking the quiet moment.

"Okay, I'm going home to cook. Come over if you need anything."

Gu Ye strode away, while Liu Jiu, perched on her father's shoulder, kept waving at Han Weidong. Han Weidong raised his hand, unsure whether to respond, his expression blank.

"Brother Han, who is it?"

Li Gang was woken up by the urge to urinate. He got up to relieve himself and saw Brother Han raising his hand and looking into the distance. He couldn't recognize who it was because they were far apart.

"Gu Ye".

"Oh my god, is he here to settle scores with me?"

Li Gang felt his stomach hurt again, and his legs were trembling.

"You're overthinking it. My brother asked him to look after me, it's unnecessary."

After saying this with a lie, Han Weidong went off to run laps.

"Tsk tsk..."

Li Gang knew perfectly well what was going on, so he went back to his room for a nap. He was just glad they weren't coming to settle scores with him. He'd always thought Gu Ye shouldn't be so petty; he wouldn't hold a grudge later.
