Looking at the bowls and chopsticks on the table, and the cooking problems to come, Bonnie prayed in her heart that Gu Ye would get promoted soon so she could hire a nanny.
Gu Xuanyu heard the dormitory supervisor calling him from downstairs. When he went downstairs, he was surprised to find that it was his second uncle.
"Second Uncle, what brings you here?"
"Your second aunt ordered me to come and bring you clothes and dumplings. Am I not allowed to obey orders?"
Gu Ye was in a good mood today and even cracked a joke with his nephew.
"My second aunt is so kind. I've been craving it these past few days. The courses are so demanding, everyone is studying harder than me, I don't dare go home, I'm afraid of falling behind."
Gu Xuanyu was overjoyed. He had seen the large lunchbox in his second uncle's hand, the biggest one yet.
"Alright, if you're craving something, go eat out. It's not like we're broke. Call home if you need anything. I'm leaving now; Liu Jiu and the others are almost done with their studies."
Gu Ye handed the items to Xuan Yu and turned to leave.
Gu Xuanyu carried his things back to his dorm, where a group of people were staring at him.
"Your family has brought you food again. You're so lucky."
"My second aunt made these steamed beef dumplings, you should try them."
Xuanyu placed the lunchbox on the table, opened the lid, and found it was still warm.
A group of young men gathered around, each taking one, and no more.
Xuanyu had already finished dinner, but he still ate the remaining half box of dumplings; they were so delicious.
After finishing my meal and washing my lunchbox, I remembered the clothes my second uncle had brought me.
Wow! What kind of material is this? It looks very high-end!
When his classmates saw the coat that Gu Xuanyu had taken out, they were amazed and urged him to try it on quickly.
Gu Xuanyu put it on; it was a little big, but very comfortable, and he liked it.
"Xuanyu, what an amazing second aunt you have! I want one too!"
Everyone nodded in agreement; they all wanted it.
Gu Xuanyu smiled but did not answer. His second aunt was truly a goddess-like figure; he had known this since he was a child.
