Chapter 57: Knock on the Door

Before Tang Qiuyue could go to the fishing village to meet the fisherman's mother-in-law, she came to her door.

I saw a group of people rushing to Tang Qiyue's door. If someone hadn't stopped them, they would probably have rushed into the yard and smashed things.

The soldier on patrol saw Tang Qiyue coming out and hurried over to explain to her what had happened.

Because the fishing village and the family compound have always lived in harmony and this kind of situation has never happened before, they did not initially think that the fisherman's mother-in-law was here to cause trouble, and they enthusiastically brought her to Tang Qiyue's door.

If the fisherwoman and her men had not arrived at Tang Qiyue's door and pulled out harpoons and sticks to rush into the house and smash things, the soldiers would not have realized that they were there to cause trouble.

Tang Qiyue knew that the patrolmen had not done anything wrong on purpose, and no one had expected the fisherman's mother-in-law to do such a thing.

Shanhu was very worried that Tang Qiyue would be accidentally injured by the fisherman's mother-in-law, so she kept protecting Tang Qiyue.

Compared to the nervousness of others, Tang Qiyue was very calm. She tidied her hair and kept a smile on her face.

"Auntie, we don't know each other, right?"

Tang Qiuyue took the initiative to speak and stopped the noisy fisherman.

The fisherwoman was holding a root in her hand. She looked Tang Qiyue up and down, as if she couldn't believe that this woman had kicked her own son away and would save her daughter-in-law.

"Are you the woman who's trying to stand out?"

The fisherwoman's voice was like a hoarse gong, vulgar and harsh, but she herself didn't feel anything was wrong. The stick in her hand was about to poke Tang Qiyue's face, but Shanhu next to her couldn't bear it and pushed her stick away.

"Aunt Hai, you can't blame the matter between Yu Niang and Brother Biaozi on others, right? Besides, Sister Qiyue saved Yu Niang. Do you want to watch Brother Biaozi stab her to death?"

Shanhu also has a hot temper. She stands in front of Tang Qiyue with her hands on her waist, facing the fisherman's mother-in-law, Aunt Hai.

Aunt Hai spat, "You little bitch, you hang out with Yu Niang all day long. I don't know how many times you've been behind her and caused her and Biaozi to have a fight. Aren't you afraid that no man will want you?"

Coral's face turned red with anger. She was not a kind-hearted person, otherwise she would not have remained unmarried until now.

Shanhu rolled up her sleeves, stepped forward, and pushed Aunt Hai away. "Bah! I called you Aunt because I was well-educated. Do you really think you can criticize me as an elder? You're such a jerk, always bullying Sister Yu Niang. Everyone in the village knows that you, a widow, always encourage Brother Biaozi to beat his wife."

Since Aunt Hai came to cause trouble, she was naturally not the kind of person who could communicate well. She swung the stick in her hand at Shanhu.

If she were to hit Coral with this stick, she would probably get a big bump on her head even if it didn't bloom.

Seeing that the stick was about to fall on Coral's head, Coral had no time to dodge and subconsciously squatted down with her head in her arms, ready to bear it. As a result, she squatted for a long time without feeling any pain. When she opened her eyes and looked up, she saw a white jade hand holding the shiny black stick.

Under Shanhu's shocked gaze, Tang Qiyue exerted a little force with her palm, and with a snap, the stick as thick as a bowl broke into two pieces.

Burrs flew from the broken edge and sawdust fell on Coral's head. She hurriedly stepped back to get out of the way.

Aunt Hai also staggered forward a few steps due to inertia. Fortunately, although the stick in her hand was broken, there was still a section in her hand that could be used to support her on the ground.

It wasn't until she almost fell on her face that she realized that Aunt Hai didn't feel Tang Qiyue's power, she just felt humiliated.

Her already hoarse voice let out a sharp sound, then she pulled out a stick from the ground and stabbed it towards Tang Qiyue.

Tang Qiyue sighed. She didn't expect this lady to be so persistent.

Zheng Hongxia and other military wives who rushed over after hearing the news screamed involuntarily. They were really afraid that Tang Qiyue would be hit by the stick. What would happen then?

But things did not develop as they worried. They saw Tang Qiyue leaning back, supporting herself on one leg, raising the other leg, bending it and kicking it out.

The stick flew out of Aunt Hai's hand, and she fell to the ground due to the inertia of the stick.

Although there was sand that Tang Qiyue had just laid on the ground, it was not a sponge after all, so it must still be very painful.

The people who followed Aunt Hai to cause trouble were originally very tough, thinking that they fought every day, so dealing with a little woman would not be difficult.

But they never expected that she was not on the same level as the shrews in their village. The expression on Tang Qiyue's face hardly changed. She looked weak and delicate like a beautiful girl, but she could easily make Aunt Hai suffer a great loss.

No one went to help Aunt Hai. They all swallowed and took a few steps back, as if to explain that they were not the same people who were asking for trouble as Aunt Hai.

Zheng Haixia also took advantage of this gap to come to Tang Qiyue. Although she saw that Tang Qiyue was not at fault, she was still worried about her. She looked her up and down, and only after confirming that Tang Qiyue was really not injured did she breathe a sigh of relief.

"Are you okay? We didn't think this through carefully. We will never let anyone in so easily in the future!"

Zheng Hongxia is in charge of family affairs. If Tang Qiyue gets injured because of this incident, she won't know how to explain to Zhan Zeye when he comes back.

Tang Qiyue shook her head. She was sure that she would not suffer any loss, but she felt that Aunt Hai should have regained some of her sanity by now.

"The fisherwoman's mother-in-law came for her son!"

Tang Qiyue mentioned it, and Zheng Hongxia would definitely understand.

These mothers-in-law always subconsciously protect their sons. Even if the son is a scumbag, they will push the problem onto outsiders.

"Go back to the house, I'll take care of it!"

Zheng Hongxia was also angry. She had been doing mediation work for many years, and a shrew from a fishing village really couldn't stump her, but Tang Qiyue reminded her.

"Sister-in-law, don't let them go so easily. They don't take human life seriously. It doesn't look like they're doing this for the first time!"

Zheng Hongxia originally wanted to have a good talk with Aunt Hai and educate her, but after Tang Qiyue's reminder, she suddenly realized that this kind of thing cannot be just about education, it is better to make it an example.

It is very common for evil mothers-in-law to bully their daughters-in-law. If this evil spirit cannot be curbed, there will definitely be a lot of family conflicts in the fishing village in the future.

"Don't worry!"

Zheng Hongxia gave Tang Qiyue a reassuring look, and then let the patrolmen escort Aunt Hai and the others out of Tang Qiyue's yard. As for those who followed, they would definitely be taken away.

Shanhu took Tang Qiyue's arm, her eyes shining: "Sister Qiyue, how did you do that kick just now? Can you teach me?"

Tang Qiyue didn't know how to answer. That was something she had trained in the apocalypse and she had never come into contact with it in her life, but she had to explain.

Just when Tang Qiyue was having a headache, she heard someone give an explanation before her.
