Seeing that it was the instructor, Song Yun quickly stood up and followed instructions.
The instructor said, "I just saw you treating the wounded here, and they're all recovering well. Can you make some more of the herbal paste you gave them? A few of the wounded in Group 1 aren't healing well, so I'd like to bring some to show them."
There was nothing wrong with that, Song Yun agreed immediately.
After the instructor left, Song Yun put some of the herbs into the system's touch grid, and put the rest aside in small bundles with freshly twisted thin straw ropes. She then picked out the herbs for preparing the golden wound ointment and took them outside to prepare the medicine.
After mashing fresh herbs into a paste, add some repair spray and you're done.
Dried herbs need to be boiled in a pot before use. Although this is more troublesome, it can be stored longer, unlike fresh herbs which can only be prepared on the spot and will go bad over time.
Song Yun put the boiled medicinal paste into an aluminum lunch box and handed it to the instructor, who then made a new request. "Why don't you come with me to the medical account of Group 1? You're a doctor, so you still have to examine the wound before deciding how to use the medicine, right?"
The principle is that this kind of medicine paste can be used on any external injury without causing allergies.
But since the instructor said so, she naturally would not refuse.
Qin Meng had no objection. There was nothing to do here anyway, so it was no problem for her to guard it alone.
So Song Yun followed the instructor to a camp.
After walking for half an hour, Song Yun finally saw a group of campsites, a row of tents, at least twenty of them.
The instructor pointed to the largest tent and said, "That's a group of medical tents."
Song Yun followed the instructor into the big tent. She thought there would be at least a dozen wounded soldiers lying in such a large tent, but she didn't expect there were only six wounded soldiers in the tent, and most of the space in the tent was empty.
Song Yun saw a slender female doctor squatting beside a wounded man, holding a towel in her hand and carefully wiping the man's hands. Her movements were gentle and delicate, as if she was wiping some precious porcelain.
Song Yun wondered why a team doctor needed to go to such lengths for the injured. Why hadn't she heard Qin Meng mention this? She hadn't seen Qin Meng wipe anyone's hands either. He'd always bring a basin of water into the tent and let them wash their hands and faces themselves.
Like the wounded man with a knife wound in the abdomen, his hands and face were not even wiped when he was unconscious.
The instructor frowned slightly when he saw this scene. He didn't say much, but just shouted over there, "Comrade Jiang Yue, come here."
Jiang Yue was carefully wiping the wounded man's hands when his back stiffened. He immediately put down his hand, stood up holding the towel, and turned to look at the instructor.
She was a young girl in her early twenties, with a pretty face. She was not tall, but had a good body proportion, and was quite pleasing to the eye.
Jiang Yue also saw Song Yun standing next to the instructor, and her brows immediately frowned. This woman, it was this woman, the small photo that Captain Qi hid in his chest pocket, the woman in the photo was her.
How could she do this?
Seeing Jiang Yue staring at Song Yun in a daze, the instructor introduced her, "This is Comrade Song Yun, a new member of the Guard Corps. She's here with Group 2 this time. She's been staying at their medical tent."
Jiang Yue asked immediately, "Then how did she get here? This is a set of medical tents."
Even a rough and tumble instructor could detect the hostility in Jiang Yue's words.
"Did you know each other before?" asked the instructor.
Song Yun shook her head, "I don't know him, I've never seen him."
She was also curious about why Comrade Jiang Yue was so hostile to someone he just met. Was it because she was pretty?
Jiang Yue frowned and said, "I don't know him."
