Song Yun said, "I just picked it up on the ground."
He Hongjun didn't think much about it, he just thought Song Yun was lucky. If she hadn't picked up the flashlight, she would have been easily attacked by enemies hiding in the dark in such a dark stairwell.
As He Hongjun had the thought, he saw Song Yun, who was walking in front, suddenly raised his gun. Two gunshots were heard, and two big men in short coats, still holding guns without having time to open the safety, fell down and rolled down the stairs.

With just one glance, Song Yun was sure that the hostage was not her uncle. His age did not match, and his height and appearance did not match those of the Bai family.
She quickly glanced at the several cells in the basement. There were people imprisoned in each cell, including men, women, young and old. In the last cell, she saw Bai Ruanruan huddled in the corner with a look of fear on her face, and a middle-aged woman huddled together with Ruanruan. That should be her aunt Ge Meilin.
A tall man with a scar on his face stood in front of the mother and daughter, in a protective posture, looking at them with a vigilant look as they suddenly broke in.
Song Yun noticed that although Bai Ruanruan and her aunt looked disheveled, they were dressed neatly. Not only them, but all the women in the other cells were dressed neatly as well, so it seemed that nothing terrible had happened.
Song Yun secretly breathed a sigh of relief, and turned her gaze to the man holding the hostage in front of her. She raised her gun and gestured to surrender, "Don't be impulsive, don't hurt him."
Seeing that the man was a woman, the scarred man quickly surrendered. He knew that his gamble had been successful, and his original tension dissipated by half. He grinned and said, "Put down the gun, hurry up, or I'll shoot him."
He Hongjun didn't know what Song Yun was going to do, so he did whatever Song Yun did. He raised his hands like Song Yun and then fired his gun like Song Yun.
Song Yun slowly put the gun on the ground. The moment she let go of the gun, she raised her hand. It seemed like a natural movement, but in fact, a silver light flashed between her fingers.
Seeing his two opponents drop their guns, the scarred man cursed them in his heart, calling them idiots. He was about to raise his gun to shoot them, when suddenly he felt a pain in his arm, as if pricked by a needle, and then a numbness. The gun in his hand slipped to the ground because of the numbness in his fingers.
Song Yun's figure flashed, and before the scarred man could react, the hostage he was holding had already left him, and he himself flew up, his back slamming against the wall, and then fell to the ground with a bang. The severe pain made him almost unconscious, and he could no longer get up.
"Guard the entrance." Song Yun said to He Hongjun.
He Hongjun nodded, picked up the gun, and stood guard at the entrance.
Song Yun said to the middle-aged man she had just rescued, who was now lying limp on the ground, "I am specially sent by the Chinese military to rescue you. Don't be afraid, you are saved."
The middle-aged man was stunned for a moment, then suddenly burst into tears, saying thank you, thank you over and over again.
Song Yun opened the cell doors one by one and let everyone out, repeating the same words over and over again, "I am specially sent by the Chinese military to rescue you. Don't be afraid, you are saved."
