Chapter 4 Song Zhenzhen is a human trafficker (2/2)

When Song Zhenzhen heard that she was going to report it to the police, her face turned pale and she kept shaking her head, "You're talking nonsense. I didn't do it. I'm not a human trafficker."

Song Yun walked out and said, "Are you a human trafficker? Go explain to the police."

Song Weiguo had lived for decades. When he saw Song Zhenzhen's panic, he knew that she had done something wrong. When he thought that it was also involved in human trafficking, his heart sank. He hurriedly stopped Song Yun and closed the half-open door.

Song Yun hadn't really intended to leave in the first place. Her brother's whereabouts were still unclear, and she couldn't explain the cause even if she reported it to the police. If Song Zhenzhen denied anything, it would take who knows how long it would take for the police to investigate the situation. Now she just wanted to know her brother's whereabouts immediately, whether he was dead or alive.

Song Yun took the opportunity to stop and looked up at Song Weiguo's raised hand. "What do you mean? Are you going to attack me again? Then you better think it over. I'm no longer your daughter now. If you dare to lay a finger on me, I will report it to the police immediately."

In the past, Song Yun was obedient and docile. If she was told to go east, she would never go west. She would be beaten or scolded, but she never resisted. But the Song Yun in front of her had a cold look in her eyes, a sharp tongue, a ruthless attack, and a strong word. There was no trace of her former obedience.

Song Weiguo reluctantly retracted his fist that was about to hit Song Yun, and snorted in annoyance and frustration, "Stop always bringing up reporting to the police. Can't you just speak calmly?"

"I'd like to talk to her, but you've seen her attitude. She's stubborn and won't cry until she sees the coffin. I can't convince her. Let the police talk to her."

Shulan pointed at Song Yun in frustration and yelled, "Zhenzhen said nothing happened, why are you trying to pin it on her? And even reporting it to the police? I think this is outrageous. I'm going to beat you to death, you bitch."

Shulan was already holding a spatula in her hand, and in a fit of rage she rushed over and smashed the spatula on Song Yun's head.

Song Yun slightly turned sideways, grabbed Shulan's wrist and twisted it hard, and Shulan's screams echoed throughout the tube building.

Song Weiguo's eyes widened. Could this damn girl be possessed by a ghost? How dare she fight with her elders?

Song Yun struggled to shake off the screaming Shulan, "Go ahead and make a scene. I don't mind letting everyone know that there's a human trafficker in your Song family."

Song Weiguo had heard the troubled neighbor coming towards them, so he rushed over and covered Shulan's mouth. At the same time, he glared at Song Yun with a warning and said in a low voice, "The matter hasn't been clarified yet. Don't make a fuss. It's not insulting anyone."

Looking at Song Weiguo's gloomy face, Song Yun snorted coldly, "I'll give you five minutes. If you don't get the answer I want in five minutes, then see you at the Public Security Bureau." After saying that, she glanced at her watch and walked to the side and sat down on a bamboo chair.

Song Weiguo took a deep breath, not caring about the drastic change in Song Yun. He glared at Shulan, warning her not to cause trouble, at least not now. After glaring at her, Shulan quickly walked into the room again, staring intently at the pale Song Zhenzhen, and asked in a deep voice, "What's going on?"

Song Zhenzhen was about to quibble, but Song Weiguo interrupted her, "You'd better think it over carefully before you speak. If something is not done cleanly, don't have any luck."

Song Zhenzhen twisted her hands tightly around the hem of her clothes, her mind racing back to her departure from Jingbei University. This recollection brought back some memories she hadn't previously paid much attention to. She was so anxious to leave back then that she hadn't even considered avoiding people. She did run into a few acquaintances as she left with Song Ziyi. Whether it was intentional or not, Song Ziyi even greeted two of the teachers and explained where he was going.
