Bai Qingfeng said, "The report mentioned the time when the canned goods were transported out of the factory. After verification, someone did see someone pulling a cart out of the factory during that time. They said she was alone and had no accomplices."
"What did Luo Qing say?" Song Yun asked.
"Luo Qing said she didn't do it. She also said she wasn't at the factory that night at all. She went to Pengjia Village, a suburb of Beijing, stayed there, and returned to the factory the next day. The factory sent someone to verify, and the Peng family said Luo Qing did stay overnight at their home. However, Factory Director Liu disagreed with this testimony, saying that Luo Qing had a good relationship with the Peng family and might have committed perjury."
Song Yun asked, "Then is it possible that the person who reported Luo Qing and the so-called eyewitnesses also committed perjury?"
Bai Qingfeng nodded. "That's what I said, but he kept harping on the fact that Luo Qing's handkerchief was left in the warehouse and forced her to admit the crime."
"Luo Qing admitted it?"
