Chapter 728 Ancient Tombs (2/2)

Unexpectedly, when we were halfway through our meal, Aunt Qian came knocking on the door again.

When I opened the door, I saw someone bringing a bowl with half a bowl of fried peanuts in it. However, they didn't look like they were freshly fried. They must have been fried previously and not finished.

Aunt Qian smiled and said, "I fried some peanuts at home and will send you some." Although she said that, she did not pass the bowl to Song Yun. Instead, she held the bowl in one hand and held her grandson's hand in the other, and squeezed into the yard.

Song Yun raised her eyebrows, curious about Aunt Qian's purpose.

She didn't think that Aunt Qian came to bring her food sincerely. Last time she saved her grandson's life, she didn't bring any food to thank her. Now she suddenly came to her house with something and couldn't wait to enter her house. She didn't believe that she had no purpose.

As soon as Aunt Qian entered the yard, she looked around and said in a familiar manner, "I'm bringing you some food from the house. There's oil on the bowl, so don't get your hands on it."

Having said that, she held her grandson in one hand and a bowl in the other, and she didn't put the bowl down after entering the main room. After looking around the main room, she went to the door of the room with the door open.

Seeing that Aunt Qian was about to step in, Song Yun called out, "Aunt Qian, just put the peanuts here."

Aunt Qian retracted her foot and laughed dryly, "I saw that you had a table in your room, so I thought you usually ate in the room."

Song Yun pointed to the half-eaten bowl of noodles and a plate of fried eggs on the table. They were so conspicuous that she had to be blind not to see them.

"Aunt Qian seems to want to enter my bedroom. Is she curious about what my bedroom looks like, or does she want to find something in my bedroom?" Song Yun asked.

Aunt Qian took two steps back and said, "Comrade Xiao Song, what you said is wrong. I just brought you food out of spite. Why do you think too much about it?"

At this time, Aunt Qian's grandson saw the plate on Song Yun's table. The golden fried eggs made the little guy swallow his saliva.

Song Yun saw it, but pretended not to see it, and sat back at the table with a faint smile, "I haven't finished my meal yet. Thank you for the peanuts, auntie. Just put them on the table." After saying that, she picked up the fried egg and took a bite.

When the little guy saw that his eggs had been eaten by others, he started crying.

Aunt Qian didn't know why her grandson was crying, so she quickly squatted down, patted his back, and asked, "What's wrong? What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

The little guy pointed at Song Yun who took another bite of the fried egg and said, "Egg, eat egg."

Aunt Qian understood. It turned out that Guaibao saw the eggs on the table. Thinking that Guaibao had not eaten eggs for a few days, she was about to ask Song Yun for the remaining eggs, but saw Song Yun stuff the remaining half of the egg into her mouth.

The little guy cried even harder.

Aunt Qian's face darkened. "Do you really need to do that?"

Song Yun pretended to be confused, "What?"

Aunt Qian was so angry that she wanted to curse, but when she thought of the purpose of Tianlai's visit, she could only suppress her anger and promised the little guy that she would fry an egg for him when she got home. Only then did the little guy stop crying.

Aunt Qian was coaxing her grandson, and then her husband started talking to Song Yun. She moved closer to Song Yun and asked quietly, "I heard that you discovered the ancient tomb over there in Weishan?"

Song Yun shook her head, "No."

"No way, why did I only say that you went to the tomb?"

Song Yun did not deny this, "Going down to the tomb to save people."

"Just saving people? Did you bring anything up?"
