Chapter 734: Dog Man (1/2)

Song Yun looked up at Feng Kai and saw that his face was slightly red, but his eyes looking at her were very clear, without any other emotions, only a strong desire for knowledge.

Song Yun liked students who were eager to learn. She smiled and nodded, "Of course. What do you want to ask?"

There were only two minutes left before class started, so Feng Kai simply said, "My question might be a bit complicated. Can it wait until after class?"

Song Yun nodded, "Well, go to class first, and come find me after class."

Feng Kai didn't expect that she would agree so readily. He was very excited and his face turned even redder. He quickly thanked her and returned to his seat.

Yu Zhiyi heard the conversation between the two clearly. She didn't turn around, but curled her lips.

Feng Kai usually treats me badly, but now that he sees Song Yun is pretty, he comes all the way to me. Humph, what a bastard.

Seeing Song Yun coming to class, Zhong Guochang became more enthusiastic in his lectures and asked questions from time to time. Most of the time, he called on Song Yun, who answered fluently. The depth and level of her answers were naturally not comparable to Yu Zhiyi and Feng Kai, especially Yu Zhiyi. She didn't even understand most of what she understood. She was very annoyed and thought that Song Yun was doing it on purpose. She was pretending. If she was really that good, why didn't she get admitted to Jingbei University and only got a place as an auditor, couldn't graduate, and would never be assigned a job.

Feng Kai's ideas were completely different from Yu Zhiyi's. There were also some things he didn't understand, but he was eager to learn. He wrote down everything he didn't understand and would ask Professor Zhong later.

After the class, Zhong Guochang guessed that Song Yun might have some questions to ask him. After the bell rang, he invited Song Yun to his office to talk.

Song Yun glanced at Feng Kai and said with a smile, "You go ahead, I'll be there soon."

Zhong Guochang nodded and left with the books and materials.

Yu Zhiyi snorted lightly and put the book away with heavy movements, as if to express his dissatisfaction.

Feng Kai didn't dare waste time. As soon as the teacher spoke, he immediately took the notebook with the questions written on it and sat down next to Song Yun. He opened the notebook and handed it to Song Yun, "This is the question I want to ask you. I'm afraid I might miss something when I ask it, so I wrote it down."

Song Yun took the notebook and asked with a smile, "Why did you want to ask me for advice? There are so many excellent professors in the school, and they are all very capable."

Feng Kai didn't hide his inner thoughts and said honestly, "I listened to your speech in the last diagnostics class. I feel that your understanding of diagnostics is different from that of academics. From your speech, I can sense that you are an experienced physician. My questions are about clinical symptoms, and I think you should have the answers I need."

Song Yun likes chatting with people who speak their mind directly. "I didn't expect you to think so highly of me." She smiled, her eyes falling on the words written in the notebook.

After reading it word by word, she roughly guessed Feng Kai's intention.

"Does a relative of yours fall ill and the hospital can't diagnose the disease?" Song Yun asked.

Feng Kai nodded. "It's my mother. She fell ill ten years ago and has been in poor health ever since. She's bedridden for most of the year. The hospital checked everything out, but they couldn't find anything. She's taken countless medicines, but none of them worked. I even consulted a famous Chinese doctor, who said she wouldn't live past forty. Now, although my mother has passed forty, her health is obviously getting worse. Lately, she can't even eat. She can only barely swallow liquid food, and she goes to the hospital from time to time for nutritional injections to maintain her condition. But at this rate, I don't know how much longer she can last."

As Feng Kai spoke, his eyes became a little red.

Although she was not familiar with Feng Kai yet, Song Yun could feel his sincerity when he talked about his mother, as well as his worry and nervousness when he mentioned her illness.
