"Stop." Qi Aiguo strode forward.
When the boys who beat up Qi Aiguo saw him in military uniform, they were frightened and ran away. Two of them didn't even have time to grab their schoolbags.
Qi Aiguo did not chase after him, but hurriedly helped up the boy who was kicked and covered in footprints. The boy was not tall and had yellowish skin. His clothes had no patches, and his shoes were cloth shoes he made himself with fine stitching, and they were about 80% new. It was obvious that his family was not well off, but his family treated him very well.
"Are you hurt? Where does it hurt?" Qi Aiguo asked in a gentle voice.
The boy had stopped crying. There were bruises on his face from being beaten. He wiped away his tears and looked at Qi Aiguo, choking with sobs as he thanked him, "Thank you, uncle. I'm fine."
Seeing that the child was so sensible, Qi Aiguo felt a little uncomfortable and asked, "Why did they gang up on you?"
The boy's eyes were filled with desolation, and he lowered his head. "They said I was a wild child, a wild child without a father. I said I wasn't, so they beat me."

Wang Hui saw that Douding looked normal and did not show any signs of forbearance, so she felt relieved and stood up to thank Qi Aiguo and Zheng Yu.
Qi Aiguo waved his hands quickly. "It's okay, it's okay. Anyone who sees this will help." He handed the two backpacks he had found to Wang Hui. "These were dropped by the kids who hit someone. Wang Hui politely invited him in to drink some water. Although Qi Aiguo was thirsty, he didn't really go in to drink some water and just said goodbye and left.
Wang Hui did not try to persuade him to stay. Gu Lao was not at home at the moment, and it would not be nice for a man and a woman to be alone together.
