"Captain Qi?" Before Qi Aiguo turned around, a familiar voice came from behind him.
Douding reacted the fastest. He dropped his schoolbag and ran straight to Song Yun. "Auntie Yun, why are you here? It smells so good. Are you bringing us something delicious?"
Song Yun pinched Douding's face lovingly, "Yeah, you have a puppy nose."
Qi Aiguo was also stunned when he saw Song Yun, but then he realized, "You two know each other."
Song Yun nodded and chatted for a few minutes before she learned what had happened. She also agreed that Wang Hui should report the matter to the school. If bullying of classmates is not handled promptly and properly, Douding may suffer more bullying.
Song Yun did not go in to sit down. After giving the snacks she brought to Wang Hui, she left with Qi Aiguo.
The two of them were going in different directions, but to get to the main road, they had to get out of the alley first. Qi Aiguo asked Song Yun, "Captain Song, doesn't Douding have a father?"
Song Yun nodded, "No." She didn't say anything else. It was Wang Hui's private matter, and even a very shameful one.
Seeing that Song Yun didn't say much, Qi Aiguo didn't ask any more questions and changed the subject.
Song Yun thought of Qian Yuxiang. She tried to hold back, but couldn't help herself and said to Qi Aiguo, "After Qian Yuxiang divorced you, she pestered Doctor Ji. Did you know about this?"
Qi Aiguo didn't know, but he wasn't surprised.
He had met Dr. Ji before, and he was exactly the type of person Qian Yuxiang would like, so it was not surprising that she fell in love with Dr. Ji.
But it was obvious that the matter did not work out, otherwise she would not have flirted with a man like that in a state-owned restaurant.
"Captain Song, I know what you mean. Don't worry, I won't remarry Qian Yuxiang."
Song Yun complained in her heart, why should I be so relieved? It’s none of my business whether you remarry her or not. I’m just telling you this.
However, Qi Aiguo seemed to be different from before, and after he helped Douding today, her impression of him changed a lot.
As they were almost at the entrance of the alley, Qi Aiguo hesitated over whether to ask, but finally spoke out, "Captain Song, I heard you're quite familiar with Weimin."
"Qi Weimin?" Song Yun asked.
Qi Aiguo nodded, "He is my eldest son."
Song Yun knew that Qi Weimin was his eldest son.
"Why are you asking this all of a sudden?"
Qi Aiguo was a little unsure how to start. "I—I'm so sorry for him. I haven't seen him for a long time. I don't know how he's doing recently."
"After graduating from the military academy, he went to Jiang Province and is now a deputy regiment commander. I heard that is his mother's hometown." After Song Yun said this, she looked at Qi Aiguo to see his reaction.
Qi Aiguo knew that Qi Weimin had gone to Jiang Province, and he also knew that he was now a deputy regimental commander, with a higher rank than his father. He wanted to know whether Weimin was living well.
"If you want to know anything else, then go ask him yourself. If you have anything to say, just tell him yourself." Song Yun thought of the lonely look on Qi Weimin's face when he saw others receiving letters from their families during the military academy. The slight good impression she had developed for Qi Aiguo immediately disappeared, and her face turned cold. "I'm leaving now."
When Song Yun arrived at Zhengde Street, Qi Mo Nan just came to pick her up, and they went to the compound together.
On the way there, Song Yun suddenly asked Qi Mo Nan, "Do you still hate Qi Guoqiang?"
