The pheasant was still alive, but its leg was injured. Li Dahui tied it up and threw it into the large basket.
They continued walking upwards, when suddenly Li Dahui stopped.
He gestured to Lin Yu with his palm not to move, then raised his bow and arrow and shot at a certain spot.
There was a rustling sound in the grass, and Li Dahui fired another arrow.
Lin Yu peeked out and saw that it was a deer.
"Wow, Uncle Dahui, you're amazing!"
Lin Yu knew that Li Dahui often went hunting, but she didn't know he was such a sharpshooter.
It's important to know that not everyone knows how to use a bow and arrow. Being able to draw the bow is one thing, but having accuracy and hitting the target on the first shot is the real skill.
Li Dahui shot the deer in the leg, rendering it unable to move.
They walked over, and Li Dahui lifted the deer and put it into the large basket.
Clearly, this deer was quite heavy; Li Dahui's steps became noticeably heavier as he carried it.
Lin Yu wanted to help, but Li Dahui refused. He could carry it himself and didn't want the little girl to get tired.
"Uncle Dahui, do you always manage to catch this much every time you hunt?"
Li Dahui shook his head: "I'm lucky today."
Normally, he doesn't catch much prey in his traps, and this deer is quite rare.
Several times he went hunting in the mountains, but he only caught two pheasants before returning home.
Just as Lin Yu was about to speak, she felt something bump into her.
She instinctively kicked out, "What's that?"
Li Dahui quickly ran over to check: "Xiaoyu, Rabbit, you kicked it."
Lin Yu walked over and realized that what had just bumped into her was a fat rabbit!
She picked up the rabbit: "Wow, I actually caught a rabbit by kicking it! Hahaha!"
Overjoyed, Lin Yu put the rabbit in her basket and said to Li Dahui, "Uncle Dahui, aren't I amazing?"
Li Dahui nodded, but before he could speak, his expression changed: "Xiaoyu, run!"
