Lin Yu, hands on her hips, said, "If you learn how to do this, what am I supposed to tell your families when you burn the house down?"
The children sighed in disappointment, "Oh~"
Xiao Bao silently looked at Gu Yunze, his eyes darting around.
Lin Yu diverted their attention, saying, "Come and see, the sweet potatoes are probably done roasting."
After saying that, he picked up a branch and started digging.
Gu Yunze also rushed to help, and in a few moments he got the blackened sweet potatoes out of the oven.
Lin Yu wrapped one in a leaf, opened it, and a sweet aroma immediately wafted out.
Little Tiedan's eyes were practically glued to it. "Auntie, let Tiedan have a taste."
Lin Yu divided the sweet potato in half and gave it to Tie Dan and Shuanzi.
Gu Yunze opened one and gave it to Lin Yu.
Lin Yu took it, "Open another one for Xiao Bao and Xiao Gou Dan."
Gu Yunze picked one up and gave one to each of them.
They held it all in their hands, and Lin Yu gave the order, "Okay, now listen to me, don't eat the black skin, just eat the yellow meat inside, understand?"
"Got it!" they said in unison.
"Okay, let's start eating then."
The group buried themselves in their sweet potatoes, and Lin Yu also ate a whole bunch of them.
The roasted sweet potatoes smell delicious, unlike the boiled or roasted ones.
Lin Yu ate happily and even shook her head.
Then look at Xiao Bao, he's exactly like Lin Yu, shaking his head and swaying as he eats.
When they finished eating and looked up, their faces and noses were all black.
Gu Yunze shook his head and smiled, went to the riverbank, wrung out a handkerchief, and handed it to Lin Yu, saying, "Wipe your face."
Lin Yu wiped her hands, then wiped the hands of the children, and then gave the handkerchief to Gu Yunze.
He rubbed his hands together. "Next up is beggar's chicken."

Xiao Bao licked his fingers, "They smell nice."

There wasn't much meat in the pheasant. Lin Yu gave Xiao Bao a small chicken leg, while the other children ate chicken wings or chicken meat. She enjoyed a large chicken leg all to herself.
As for Gu Yunze, he said he wouldn't eat.
He sat there staring at Lin Yu, his eyes full of love.
Lin Yuan had just walked over when he saw this scene, and his guard immediately went up.
"What are you doing? What's Gu Zhiqing doing here?"
Lin Yu looked up and waved to him, "Second Brother, come and eat some chicken."
Lin Yuan approached, "Xiao Yu, where did this chicken come from?"
Nowadays, every household has a quota for raising chickens; they can't just raise a few at will. The chickens at home are kept to lay eggs, so it's not reasonable to let them take them out to roast.
Lin Yu pointed at Gu Yunze and said, "He caught a pheasant."
Lin Yuan narrowed his eyes. "Gu Zhiqing?"
When Gu Yunze saw his second brother-in-law, he quickly stood up and said, "Hello, Second Brother Lin. I saw them roasting sweet potatoes when I passed by, so I gave them the pheasant I caught to roast as well."

Gu Yunze smiled sheepishly and said, "Comrade Lin Yu calls you Second Brother, and I don't know what to call you, so I'll just call you Second Brother Lin."
He played the role of an innocent young man so well that, apart from Lin Yu, no one knew how wild he actually was.
Seeing his somewhat naive appearance, Lin Yuan's guard lowered a little. "How old are you this year?"
Gu Yunze said, "I'm 21 this year."
Lin Yuan frowned. "I'm only 20. You don't need to call me Second Brother. Just call me Lin Yuan."
Gu Yunze sighed inwardly, but outwardly remained obedient, saying, "Lin Yuan."
Lin Yuan nodded. As long as he didn't start calling Lin Yu "Second Brother," he was still a good person.

While eating sweet potatoes and roasted chicken, the little guy Shuanzi admired Lin Yu even more.
"Sister Yu, from now on you're my boss, I want to eat all the good food with you."

The children froze, glared at him, and then ran away.
Tie Dan excitedly ran after them, leaving Xiao Bao behind, who stayed by Lin Yu's side, holding her hand and walking slowly.
Lin Yuan thought it was too slow, "Xiao Bao, let your second brother carry you."
Xiao Bao turned his head away and ignored him. If you said a few more words, he would glare at you with his big eyes and say, "Go away."
"Alright, alright, go by yourself."
Lin Yu laughed heartily beside him, "Even our little Bao dislikes you. Look at yourself, you're covered in dirt. Little Bao doesn't want you to carry him."
