Chapter 25 Going to the City

Howard protected Mingzhao and finally found a relatively spacious spot near the front of the carriage for her to sit down.

He squatted down next to Mingzhao, using his body to block the crowd from getting around. He frowned slightly and asked apologetically in a low voice, "Is it crowded? The smell is a bit strong. Are you carsick? Just say so if you feel uncomfortable."

The woman's best friend was caught off guard and smelled a fermented, foul odor coming from her mouth, which almost made her faint.

She mumbled "Ah~ Ah..." incoherently, just wanting to catch her breath as soon as the smell dissipated.

Unexpectedly, the woman thought she had received affirmation and became even more enthusiastic in her speech.
