Chapter 107 Rushing to the Hospital

The sky is darkest a few hours before dawn, and the night wind blows all night, making it very chilly.

When Jiang Zao was at her mother's house, she slept under the window in the winter and was exposed to the cold wind. In the summer, she was moved to a position against the wall, which was uncomfortable. After she married into the Xiao family, she used Xiao Shuisheng as a stove when it was cold at night.

She liked to rest her head on Xiao Shuisheng's hot chest and put her arms around his waist.

"Help, help! Shuisheng, get up quickly, something happened to your brother! He vomited blood and fainted!" Huo Xiaoman was frantically banging on the door outside. After banging a few times, she moved to the window and hammered on the glass hard.

The crackling sound was particularly harsh at night.

Jiang Zao woke up with a start. Without waiting for questions, the man who was hugging her gently patted her shoulder and said in a hoarse voice, "You fall asleep, I'll go outside and take a look."

Xiao Shuisheng shouted to the outside: "Wait a moment, come out immediately."

When Huo Xiaoman heard Xiao Shuisheng's voice, she ran next door and called Gu Xiufang and Xiao Chengda.

Xiao Shuisheng stood up.

The quilt was lifted and cold air poured into the bed.

Jiang Zao was about to frown when Xiao Shuisheng hurriedly and considerately tucked the quilt in.

Gathering the heat back, Jiang Zao was too sleepy to open his eyes and asked in confusion, "Should I get up?"

Xiao Shuisheng stood by the bed and put on his clothes: "How can you help if you get up? Go to sleep first. If anything happens, I'll take him to the hospital."

Jiang Zao thought about it and agreed.

After changing his clothes, Xiao Shuisheng went out.

Huo Xiaoman was immediately displeased when she saw him come out by himself: "Where's Jiang Zao?"

Even though such a big thing happened, Jiang Zao didn't come out to help.

"She's sleeping. How could she have the energy to help you lift my brother? What happened?" Xiao Shuisheng walked straight into the house.

He didn't need to ask as soon as he stepped in.

Xiao Wensheng was lying naked on the ground, with a piece of clothing covering his vital parts. His eyes were rolled up, his face was covered in blood, and his chest was dotted with bruises. Without saying a word, he found clothes and put them on Xiao Wensheng.

He was never easily angered, but at this moment his face was completely black: "You made my eldest brother like this, and you still want Jiang Zao to come over? What do you want her to come over to see? To see your man?"

Huo Xiaoman was so frightened that she stepped back repeatedly.

Gu Xiufang, who had casually put on a coat, walked anxiously to the door, but Xiao Shuisheng called out to her, "Don't come in yet."

Gu Xiufang stood at the door, covering her mouth and crying, "What happened? Wensheng has always been in good health, how could he faint out of nowhere?"

Xiao Chengda frowned: "Hurry up and tell me!"

Huo Xiaoman was too embarrassed to tell the truth, so she stammered, "Let's go to the hospital and talk to the doctor."

"What can't you say at this point? You usually talk a lot, but why are you so quiet now? Did you make my Wen faint because of you?"

Gu Xiufang was so anxious that tears fell from her eyes, and she felt like someone had dug a piece of her flesh out of her heart.

Huo Xiaoman quickly shook her head: "No, I didn't do anything."

After Xiao Wensheng was dressed, he carried him on his back and walked out quickly: "The road is difficult to walk on, use the electric baton to light the way."

Huo Xiaoman went back to the house, took out an electric baton, turned it on with a bang, and led the way.

Xiao Chengda and Gu Xiufang followed closely behind. Before leaving, Gu Xiufang suddenly noticed the little guy following her.

He usually wears a coat to look less thin, but when he wears a sweater, his hair is messy and rests on his head. With a big head on his thin neck, he looks so pitiful no matter how you look at him.

Gu Xiufang chased her back: "The road is cold and dark, go home and wait."

If I wanted to watch it, I had to stop where I was and count my fingers nervously.

Daddy...

I want to see it and go see my dad.

Everyone has left.

She didn't know where to go. It was dark in the room and she was alone. She was scared.

The soft wind blew against my body, easily touching my skin. It was so cold in the yard. I couldn't hold back my tears anymore and ran towards Jiang Zao's house.

Jiang Zao was half asleep when she felt someone holding her hand, a very small and cold hand.

"Aunt, aunt, I'm scared. Daddy vomited blood and fainted. Will he die?" I wanted to see tears in her big eyes, and her voice was trembling, revealing helplessness and fear.

Jiang Zao opened his eyes: "I want to see, have they all gone to the hospital?"

I want to look at it and nod: "Yeah."

Seeing her aunt wake up, she suddenly felt less scared. Her aunt was never like her mother. She would be fine one second and then beat people, pinch people, and twist her flesh as if she wanted to pull it off the next second.

Jiang Zao regained consciousness, stood up, carried Xiangdi to the bed, and wrapped him tightly in a blanket: "Don't be afraid, your father is strong and healthy, he will be fine."

After all, he was a child, and he was scared and worried. Suddenly, he was wrapped in a quilt, and someone held him and coaxed him. He also listened to the soft and gentle voice of coaxing him to sleep, and he fell asleep while crying.

The sky outside was turning pale, and the gaps in the window turned from black to dark blue, with a hint of morning glow breaking through the dark blue.

My family member went to the hospital in the middle of the night. I tossed and turned all night and couldn't sleep or eat well. No matter what, I made breakfast first, and then I will take him to the hospital and check on his condition.

The child is just young, but not stupid. He is worried about you, so don't worry too much.

Besides, Jiang Zao was also concerned. Huo Xiaoman was usually a bad person, but Xiao Wensheng was quite kind. She hoped that nothing would happen to him.

Jiang Zao put Xiangdi on the bed, got dressed and went to the kitchen to cook a pot of porridge. Drinking porridge alone would not make her feel full, so she scooped two bowls of noodles, beat in three eggs, added some chopped green onions, poured in an appropriate amount of water and stirred it into a paste.

After the batter is ready, put a handful of firewood in the bottom of the pot. The orange-red flame of the firewood will lick the bottom of the pot. Heat the iron pot on low heat, put a spoonful of animal oil into the pot, and then use a spatula to spread the oil evenly. The edges and bottom of the pot can be rubbed with oil.

After a minute or two, the oil is hot. Scoop a spoonful of batter and pour it from the side of the pan. The light yellow batter mixed with green chopped green onions just covers the entire surface.

The ginger and jujube batter is just right, thin and soft. When it is cooked, scoop it up and turn it over. The bottom layer turns a darker yellow. The area near the center of the pot is heated by strong fire and has a light brown texture. That area is often the most delicious.

Fry both sides, divide them into four parts with a spatula and place them on plates. I made five or six egg pancakes at once, and the porridge in the pot next door was almost done.

She wanted to see Jiang Zao but didn't see him when she woke up. She went out and smelled the delicious food, so she followed the scent to the kitchen.

Jiang Zao noticed the little person and said, "Go wash your face, and then we can eat something. I'll take you to the hospital."

I wanted to look at him and nodded, then ran away with my short legs.

After searching around in the kitchen, Jiang Zao dug out a watermelon-sized, brown ceramic jar from the corner. It was originally used to pickle salted eggs, but the jar was empty after the salted eggs were eaten.

She washed it with hot water, poured the porridge in, packed the egg pancakes into two lunch boxes, and put the bowls and chopsticks into the foam box.

Just as it was packed, Xiangdi came running over. Jiang Zao took her to eat, moved the box out and tied it to the back seat of the bicycle, put Xiangdi on the front bar, and carried her to the hospital.

She held the box and wanted to see Xiao Wensheng following her obediently. She asked the nurse and found out Xiao Wensheng's ward, then she carried her things over.

Xiao Shuisheng was sitting in the corridor. When he saw Jiang Zao, he stood up and took the things.

Jiang Zao glanced at the door of the ward: "Is he okay?"
