Chapter 13 Steal My Jade Pendant

Jiang Zao's words, 'I was born by you', touched Liu Chunhua's heart.

Jiang Zao was her child, and Jiang Shan was just an outsider. Liu Chunhua could clearly tell who was close and who was distant. "Xiao Shanzi, our family will handle your second sister's affairs ourselves. You don't need to worry about it."

"If you're not feeling well, stay home more. Your elder sister and second sister both have partners. Don't let your illness get you down and drug your brother-in-law."

Jiang Shan's eyes widened: "Auntie! How can you say that to me!"

Liu Chunhua's tone was indifferent, not even taking her into consideration: "Why? Did Auntie wrongly accuse you?"

Jiang Zao remembered that in her previous life, her mother tried her best to curry favor with her second uncle's family for the sake of her younger brother. Whenever she and Jiang Shan quarreled, no matter who was right or wrong, her mother would always favor Jiang Shan.

Liu Chunhua is not partial to Jiang Shan at all. After all, she is just planning for her own son.

But...it's quite enjoyable to watch them quarrel.

Jiang Shan, this young sprout, had no chance of winning against the old Jiang Liu Chunhua. She stroked her chest and took a deep breath: "Jiang Zao, I have something to ask you. Come with me."

Jiang Shan went outside and waited under the apricot tree.

Jiang Zao came over later.

"Ask."

Jiang Shan frowned, anger flashing in her eyes: "You stole my jade pendant while I was locked up, Jiang Zao, you are so shameless!"

She stretched out her hand and begged: "Give the jade pendant back to me!"

When she came back from prison, she found that the jade pendant she had placed in the biscuit box was missing. Her mother said that Jiang Zao had gone to take the book, so there was no doubt that she must have stolen it.

Jiang Zao was so angry that he laughed: "Who is shameless? That was left to me by my grandma, when did it become yours?"

Jiang Shan said angrily: "What's in my box is mine. You came to my house to take things, Jiang Zao, you are shameless..."

Jiang Zao's eyes were as sharp as knives. He raised his hand and swung it towards Jiang Shan's face.

Jiang Shan was caught off guard and received a slap in the face: "Ah!!!"

Jiang Zao said coldly: "I tell you, my things are mine. If you dare to covet them again, let alone my grandma's relics, even if it's a stone I like, I will cut you if you dare to touch it."

Her left cheek felt hot and swollen quickly. Jiang Shan had never suffered such an injustice since she was a child.

"Jiang Zao, you actually dared to hit me. I'm going to tell my mother, and she won't let you go."

Jiang Zao: "Even if you go to the street office and find someone wearing a red armband, no one will bother you, because you are now a 'mentally ill person'."

You reap what you sow.

If she hadn't had any bad intentions, she wouldn't have ended up like this.

Thinking of the blood and pain of her past life, the people who owed her debts and those who had let her down, she would slowly take them back.

This is just the beginning.

Jiang Shan looked at Jiang Zao in surprise with tears in her eyes. She found that Jiang Zao had really changed. She looked inside the house.

Liu Chunhua was using a plastic fly swatter to swat flies, and when she saw her crying after being beaten, she pretended not to see anything.

Jiang Shan curled her lips in grievance: "Okay, you all bully me, Jiang Zao, don't be too proud too soon, if a piece of shit like you can enter the food factory, then so can I!"

"I won't let you have it easy."

After saying these harsh words, Jiang Shan ran away with her face covered.

Jiang Zao, just wait for me!

Jiang Shan ran away, and Liu Chunhua opened the door curtain and walked out: "We have completely fallen out with your second uncle's family. Your younger brother's job will depend on you."

Jiang Zao: "I understand, mother."

This is to motivate her!

In the past, she must have been extremely nervous. After experiencing disappointment and heartache, Jiang Zao only spoke perfunctorily.

Jiang Jun has nothing to do with her!

Jiang Dashan and Jiang Dahe are brothers from the same mother. The houses they were allocated are almost next to each other, just a few alleys away.

Jiang Shan ran home crying: "Mom, Jiang Zao hit me!"

Feng Miao was sewing clothes in the house. When she heard the crying, she rushed out. Seeing Jiang Shan's face swollen, she hugged her distressedly: "God damned bastard, she actually dared to hit you. Come on, I'll go find her with you."

Jiang Shan shook her head: "Don't go. She said I'm mentally ill and no one will care about me. They might even arrest me."

Feng Miao felt heartbroken.

"Come inside, Mom will get you some ice water to wash your face and reduce the swelling."

Jiang Shan grabbed Feng Miao's hand and said in a stern tone, "Xiao Shuisheng found a job for Jiang Zao in a food factory. Mom, I want to work there too. I can't let Jiang Zao outdo me."

For some reason, she felt extremely upset when the jade pendant was taken away by Jiang Zao. She always felt that life should not be like this and that she seemed to have missed something very important.

There is also a job at the food factory, which seems to be hers. There are good things waiting for her there!

Feng Miao brought Jiang Shan into the house and put a towel cooled with well water on her face.

Jiang Shan was furious, staring at something with tears hanging on her lower eyelashes.

"...Xiao Shanzi, don't worry. It's not time to go out and work yet. Wait until everyone has forgotten about you being in prison. Then ask your uncle to find you a job at the food factory, okay?"

Feng Miao discussed it with her carefully.

Jiang Shan took the towel off her face and threw it on the ground: "I don't want it!"

"Jiang Zao has always been the most beautiful child since she was young. Everyone who sees her would praise her beauty. I look like a big gray goose standing next to her. It's all your and my father's fault. Why didn't you make me look like Jiang Zao?"

"I went to jail and pretended to be mentally ill because you were incompetent. If you were more powerful, would I still be able to suffer?"

"I'm going to work in the food factory. I'm as smart as Jiang Zao, sweet-talking and perceptive. Go find my uncle and buy him a job, or even change jobs. I'm going to go into the factory and pin Jiang Zao to the ground, making her kneel down and look up at me!"

Jiang Shan cried and threatened: "I went to jail and was treated as a mental patient. If I can't go to work in the food factory, I might as well die!"

As he said this, he was about to bang his head against the wall.

Of course Feng Miao knew that she was deliberately throwing a tantrum, but she couldn't stand her daughter's suicidal look even though she knew it was fake.

"Okay, okay, I'll go find your uncle right now and sell everything I have to get you a job at the food factory."
