Chapter 15: Cruelly Beating the Scumbag

Jiang Shan raised her lips in triumph, but suddenly felt a tearing pain in her hair: "Ah! Jiang Zao, what are you doing?"

Jiang Zao grabbed her hair and pulled it back, expressionless, "What are you doing? I'm saying hello to you. What's the matter? Did you just bump into me and deliberately bully me?"

"You greeted me in that way and in that tone, so I naturally can't neglect you."

I was just worrying that I wouldn't have the chance to deal with her, but now I'm right here, eagerly waiting for her. If I don't give her a couple of beatings, I'd really be letting her down!

Jiang Shan's hair was grabbed and she couldn't fight back. She finally cried and begged for mercy: "Sister, I was wrong. I won't dare to do it again."

Jiang Zao let go of his hand with a cold face, and clapped his hands in disgust, as if he had touched something dirty.

Jiang Shan was angry but dared not speak out.

Wang Meili didn't expect Jiang Zao to have such a bad temper. She started fighting as soon as they disagreed: "Okay, report it first and don't cause any trouble. There will be plenty of opportunities to deal with her later."

After changing clothes, everyone gathered in front of the locker room door.

Chang Sanxi pointed at Jiang Zao and said, "Jiang Zao has the best hair. You two should also tuck the loose hair hanging down beside your faces behind your ears."

Wang Meili's hair is shoulder-length and very thin. Her face is relatively wide on both sides. She usually lets down a little bit of hair to cover the sides. She knows that she needs to comb her hair back and tie it up when cooking. In order to surpass Jiang Zao in her professional field, she made up her mind and pinned all her hair up and tied it tightly.

After Jiang Shan finished styling her hair, she looked back and was stunned: "Meili, your face is so big, and your hair is quite thin. How can your hair be so thin?"

It would have been fine if Jiang Shan hadn't said anything, but when she did, Chang Sanxi and Wu Shengli both looked over.

Wang Meili was so angry that smoke came out of her nostrils: "You..."

What did you say?

They are temporary allies. To put it bluntly, Jiang Shan is against her, and to put it mildly, it is better not to say it.

Jiang Shan was right, her face was indeed big and her hair was thin.

But she shouldn't have said it in front of so many people, making her lose face.

Jiang Shan realized belatedly that she had said something wrong and covered her mouth: "I'm sorry, Meili, I was too outspoken just now."

Wang Meili could only swallow her anger and said, "It's okay."

Jiang Zao didn't pay attention to what was happening here. She stood at the door and looked inside through the glass window.

The pastry making class is very large. Except for the electric conveyor belt, everything else is done manually, including kneading the dough, pinching the dough, and working in the fermentation room.

Everyone was doing their work in an orderly manner.

A middle-aged woman with a broad face and not much hair was patrolling the aisle.

Chang Sanxi pushed the door open and said, "Come in."

Jiang Zao stood by the door and walked in first.

Next to the fermenting basin, I saw the middle-aged man who was invigilating them that day, known as Master Sun. He was pinching the dough pieces and throwing them on the scale. Each one weighed the same three taels.

When they came in, some workers looked up, then lowered their heads and continued working, while others didn't even look up.

The middle-aged woman on patrol came over. She had drooping nasolabial folds on her face and a habitual stern expression. She looked very serious and... difficult to get along with.

Jiang Zao discovered that the woman in front of him looked very similar to Wang Meili.

Chang Sanxi introduced: "This is the squad leader of our pastry class, Qin Xuehua."

"Team Leader Qin, these are the new workers: Jiang Zao, Jiang Shan, Wang Meili, and Wu Shengli. How do you think we should distribute them?"

Qin Xuehua's expression was very cold. She glanced at everyone and said, "Jiang Shan and Wu Shengli will go to the fermentation room. Wang Meili will follow me to learn how to make pastries and memorize the ingredient list."

He glanced at Jiang Zao with a cold gaze and made no arrangements.

Chang Sanxi reminded: "Squad Leader Qin, Jiang Zao still has not been assigned a task."

Qin Xuehua sneered: "Some people are really capable. Master Sun wants to lead them personally. I can't control them."

Chang Sanxi certainly knew that Master Sun had to take charge personally, otherwise why would Master Sun, who had retired from the production line long ago, come to work in the pastry class.

But Master Sun is Master Sun, and the squad leader is the squad leader.

Team leader Qin ignored Jiang Zao in front of everyone and took the lead in mocking Jiang Zao. Will Jiang Zao have an easy life in the food factory in the future?

With a 'bang' sound.

Sun Ligen threw the dough in his hand onto the table and picked up a clean cloth next to him to wipe the flour off his hands.

"Jiang Zao submitted five doses, and three were qualified. She has no formal training, but she has achieved this level of skill based solely on her eyesight. She is a promising candidate."

"I, Sun Ligen, have dedicated most of my life to the factory. Before I retired, I took in an apprentice to inherit my legacy. Are you so naive that you can't stand it?"

Sun Ligen came over.

He was of medium height, with a square face, thick eyebrows and a broad face. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing half of his strong wheat-colored forearms, and below were a pair of neatly trimmed hands.

Sun Ligen had a cold face and did not give Qin Xuehua any face at all. He was determined to get an explanation from Jiang Zao.

Qin Xuehua suddenly laughed: "Master Sun, you misunderstood. I don't mean to offend you. It's just that Jiang Zao has never learned it before, so how could she pinch the dough so accurately? I suspect there is something wrong with her."

"Comrade Wang Meili has been learning cooking from her father since she was a child. She has a solid foundation. If you want to take in an apprentice, you might as well give her priority."

When Jiang Zao heard this, all his doubts were resolved.

She had long been curious. Wang Meili's father was a chef in a state-owned restaurant. She worked with her father in a state-owned restaurant, with someone to take care of her and a stable salary. Why did he come to the food factory?

It turned out to be for Master Sun.

Judging from her appearance, Qin Xuehua is Wang Meili's elder. Wang Meili and her family planned to let Wang Meili become Master Sun's apprentice, but they didn't expect that she would intercept them halfway.

So they target her everywhere.

Those who are not envied are mediocre.

Jiang Zao was not angry, but became cautious in his heart.

Master Sun glanced at Wang Meili and said, "Her father is a chef for red cases, and I am a chef for white cases. She has no foundation or talent for white cases."
