Chapter 171 Apology

Gu Xiufang felt a headache when she thought of that scene.

Xiao Wensheng had no objection: "Well, I'll carefully screen them when the time comes."

He was not opposed to continuing to look, as he felt that any middle-aged woman he found on the street would be more normal and more family-oriented than Huo Xiaoman. Besides, the Xiao family was not poor, and he had a stable job, so it would not be difficult to find someone of normal age.

Gu Xiufang was relieved to hear that he was not opposed to it. She went with her daughter-in-law to prepare the meal, and then went to buy a chicken.

The chickens and ducks were caught in the rain and were so cold that they buried their heads in their wings and their cries became smaller.

Gu Xiufang looked around and saw no place to hide. She wanted to grab her things and turn back, but she had only taken a few steps when an umbrella was thrown over her head. A familiar man's voice rang out from behind her: "Why are you here? Have you finally figured it out? Are you here to apologize with chickens and ducks?"
